Incarnon Weapon Quest for Nightwave

So after completing The War Within you unlock additional quests for Nightwave (The Battlepass) but one of them involves using Incarnon Weapons or "Unlocking them" 5 times in a mission.

The problem is that apparently you need to complete The New War to unlock these new weapons meaning I literally can't complete the quest. Is there any way to obtain an Incarnon Weapon for this Nightwave quest before I've completed The New War?

No. You can only start getting incarnons, and buy the original incarnon weapons (Phenmor/Laetum/Praedos/Felarx/Innodem) on the Zariman from Cavalero. This is a location that only opens up after completing The New War.

Nightwave sometimes gives a weekly or daily that you can't do if you have not completed all of the Warframe quests. You just have to ignore it. The next weekly or daily nightwaves will cover it up eventually.

Just ignore them, if you can't do them. There are more than enough weeks to complete nightwave and even go fare beyond.

NIghtwave is designed so you only need to do about half the quests to get all the rewards (exact percentage depends on the length of the season, might be even less nowadays). If there are challenges you can't or don't want to do, you can just skip them, and still have more than enough to get to rank 30. Any nightwave rank after that is just more nightwave credits forever.

The only weird thing about the specific Incarnion weapon task is that it doesn't get hidden. the game has allowances for objectives based on stuff that gets added by quests you haven't done yet, but it isn't applied to this one.
