Requiem Relics and Parazon Requiem Mods, and Mod slots.
Noob: So apologies for any errors in understanding Kuva Liches, requiem relics, special parazon mods, and especially requiem mod slots!

Note: I've done my research and read the wiki and watched videos but the information/ tutorials do not speak into when the 'parazon requiem mod slot appears' (and what triggers it to appear).

Are there any prerequisites that I've not done?

1. I'm having some trouble farming these requiem relics in order to get a requiem parazon mod.

2. I ran a few requiem relic fissure missions at the Kuva Fortress, which btw is hard as heck, but fun, but no req mods received.

3. The mission says I've cracked the relic which I think means mission "criteria met"

What am I doing wrong? Or perhaps I'm supposed to keep at the requiem missions until a mod does drop? IDK.

I'm wondering if I'm supposed to do another quest or have some content I need to do first. I've finished the New War and 80 percent of the quests, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Any help would be appreciated and might help others with similar questions.

Cheers,

Yea, sorry if I'm not clear as I'm still attempting to get my head around the "Kuva Liches" stuff.

What I'm asking I think is the following:

Source internet: "Requiem relics that drop from Kuva Flood and Kuva Siphon Missions (plus occasionally from Kuva Thralls/Sister Hounds), and can be cracked during Void Fissure Missions aboard the Kuva Fortress."

After being cracked one reward is these requiem mods. (or at least that's my understanding)

Possible light spoilers: But general knowledge.
My understanding is that cracking these requiem relics, can give you special requiem mods, that help you to defeat a Kuva Lich.

Step 1: Get a lich

Step 2: Fight through missions controlled by the lich and kill the lich's thralls. Thralls drop relics and give requiem murmurs that teach you which requiems you need for your particular lich.

Step 3: Take those requiem relics you got from the thralls, and go do Requiem fissures. They show up at the bottom of the list of normal void fissure quests, and the basic mechanics are the same, except the rewards are a lot more fixed. The uncommon (silver) rewards are what you want, those give the requiem mods you need.

Step 4: Once you have all all the mods you know you need for your respective lich, try them out in process of elimination until you figure out the sequence you need.

Note: If your lich shows up prematurely, take him down until he is ready to be executed with the parazon, but DON'T execute him, let him recover. Do this 3 times, and he'll leave without changing the planet unless you're clearing the last node he controls.

I assume you're asking about step 3, in this thread. You need to have done the previous steps to have the relics you need to get the mods, and to have the information to use them correctly. I'm assuming you've cracked normal relics before to get prime parts, it's basically the same thing, except you're mainly after the silver tier rewards.

The requiem mods are on the "uncommon" range on the requiem relics, and you can view them in your void relic station in your orbiter, or on the relic select for the Requiem fissures on Kuva Fortress. You can increase the chances of getting uncommon or rare rewards on your relics by upgrading them, which is done by spending Void Traces, a resource you gain from cracking relics (you also get bonus VTs when people select the item from your relic).
Relics are lootboxes that reward you with one random item after cracking it.

It is an additional layer of grind.

oh. - "Uncommon" range on the requiem relics." - Thank you!

This was the vital 'local knowledge' info I was missing.
I'll need to be patient then!

Thanks.

Yes, Requiem I, Requiem II, Requiem III, Requiem IV - I'm just learning now are quite uncommon drops.

Yes, I'm asking about step 3:

This is the clearest short concise summary of the entire process you've written. Clarifies all my googling research on this. Thank you.

Ah. Wondering below.

EDIT: You wrote silver reward. I read sliver - lol XD

Got it now.

Hope to get one, that is a 'silver' reward from the mission given enough time and good rng.

Is there a clear process that changes the slivers into mods? Or is it obvious. I didn't realise I was looking for a sliver. Thanks again.
Silver is the color for uncommon drops on relics.
Sliver is something else not releated to this.

lmao - yea, I need new glasses.

XD
Here's a tip from me...

If you have an OULL-parazon mod; slot that in first place (but fill the other 2 slots with requiem mods too) and then go about your business as you would normally..

Now... eventually your lich/sister will show up
Down them and then stab them ONCE then let it get away... it will give you massive progress on your murmur-bar... because your first slot will be Oull it will always be correct

You could even try and stab it multiple times if you already know of at least 1 requiem mod that's needed to defeat it by way of exclusion
