Spy missions are so terrible.
Jesus Christ, i just tried to complete my star chart after not trying for probably close to 3 years and i just realised why I stopped.

The Spy missions especially on the Kuva Fortress are absolutely horrible. I love Splinter Cell but this game and its AI is nothing like splinter cell.

It's because you aren't using the backdoors, or not just waltzing through with a stealthframe

Kuva spy missions are pretty straight forward, what doesn't make sense would be the spy mission on Lua.

Lucky, there is only one mission of that type and Limbo can just walks through it, but it still makes no logical sense.

Really? They are my favorite game mode because its easy EXP. Fully stealthed hack of each vault is 10.000 affinity, so its easy 30.000 affinity per mission.

That being said, i prefer classic corpus vaults. Grineer vaults are fairly easy as well, but i hate the stupid drones and grineer hacking minigame.
And yes, Kuva and Lua spies are a whole different world of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Lua, especially.

If you take Ivara with her infiltrate augment, spy missions just become a door opening simulator. Nothing can see you, nothing can detect you and nothing knows to attack you or raise an alarm.

Ivara makes spy missions trivial to the point that the only semi challenging one is Lua.

See this really highlights the flaw in Warframe and its completely expected since its a F2P game.

You need to grind up 5 items just so you don't hit a brick wall.

Whats worse is to get Ivara you need to do spy missions, to get her augment you need to grind Cephalon Suda missions.

So no getting Ivara is not a legitimate suggestion as it implies struggling with the fact that this game is not designed for stealth.

(FYI i got ivara prime from fissures before even getting a single normal ivara parts from Spy missions)

you don't need ivara, i tend to just do spy missions with whatever frame i have equipped currently, usually valkyr prime

You have other options besides Ivara, frankly, I find her too slow for spy missions to suit my taste.

Wukong: if you feel like blitzing vaults, his [2] makes everything a breeze
Loki: [2] to go invis, use his [1] and [3] to get pass lasers

Both frames are easily to acquire, heck, DE gave away Loki Prime for Tennocon and even a normal Loki+potato+frameslot+skin for linking Prime Gaming account.

This is not a flaw in Warframe it`s YOU. Start to practice spy missions All spy vaults can be done in 2-3 ways with any warframe in the game. Never used Ivara on spy missions because she is too slow for me. I completed my star chart using Rhino because at that time he was the only one i had a reactor. Now i use Titania on spy missions. By the time Ivara opens the door to the first vault i finish the second one and i`m on my way to the third.
Also Loki exists. You can get his parts all the resources to build him in under a hour.

Well, to be fair, you have just pointed out that you've gotten hold of Ivara prime before getting regular Ivara from running the missions.

You only need to farm those five things to totally trivialise the missions, several other frames highlighted can already breeze through them.

Ivara is the spy specialist, Octavia makes stealth and sentries a doddle, but needs to avoid lasers. Limbo makes lasers a doddle. Nezha, Rhino and Atlas are great for saying "nuts to the stealth, I'll just go in the front door and make it fast" due to their knockdown reistance.

Stealth works fine, honestly... And as so many memes say, stealth is optional for this mission... Really... With the majority of spy missions, just rush the objective and have a cypher ready if you're not confident in your ability to speed hack. For Lua and kuva fortress, this isn't so much an option, but hey, by then you either have Ivara, or Ivara prime. And lets face it, the entire Ivara prime set is only 30 plat or so, so there's little excuse to not have her. (Infiltrate is another 12 is you really can't get it via syndicates)

So... Yeah.

Wukong. Just Wukong. Everyone who brings anything than him to this missions are just a throwers uncapable to do anything than raising alarms.

Lol, yup, I even totally forgot about Wukong.

do the homework, look up guides/videos, its fairly easy to do any spy mission by using operator + any frame ( lua and kuva spy included ) if u know the tiles

Laughs in unalarmed spy vaults done with gauss under 2 minutes

dude wth are you talking about spy missions are the easyest thing to do in the game, come on dude
2GenL Aug 17, 2021 @ 7:36am
Kuva spy are tough! Definitely agree with that.
But Kuva fortress is towards the later (possibly end game) with the quest line. So, should be harder than other missions.

But since you can speed run them after learning all the short cuts to bypass all the security (even kuva spy has loads of shortcuts) they are the easiest to do losts off.

I'd advice doing them and exploring each different setting to get past. Don't worry about completing the missions first. Just run around and find all the little hidden paths around the cameras ect. Then run them to complete after learning the routes :)
