How it feels to grind loid for necramech?

Loid rep is actually pretty easy to acquire. Just do iso vaults. Heck, if you have an Octavia, she could easily solo the whole thing.

As for damaged necramech parts, you can find sets of them for 10plat on warframe market and that's only if you are unlucky in getting a set while farming standing.

Loid rank is insanely easy to get. The only part I would pay plat for is the damaged parts if you get unlucky while ranking.

maxed and bought everything off him just doing iso vaults for the scintillant to build my nechramech, quassus and two xaku. i still have 68 orientation, 62 ballistics and 83 animus i could trade in for rep. deimos is all pretty easy to rep grind

if you need help see if you can find a buddy or team to do the rank 3 ones, they give a MASSIVE amount of rep compared to rank 1 vaults. not to mention you get three drops, more if you bring a nekros.
rank 3 vaults for rep, other ones for rank up material requirements.

Nah, it's pretty easy to get and doing iso vaults also yields you resources which you can use for many other blueprints so you get to do two things at once.

Two months later I still don't have enough materials for the necramech. Mining in Warframe is exceptionally boring with the NPCs constantly spawning specifically to harass you. And then there is a necra weapon to grind...

Not worth the effort really. Also not mandatory. My 45% tenet arca plasmor outdamage most of the other player necramechs in Deimos bounties: with the Mirage buff it can two-shot max level necramech guard and one-shot pretty much everything else in the game, including L130+ steel path invasions.

Mining is easy, just look where you do it and no enemies bother you. They actually toned down the enemy spawns too, so you just clear the area and mine all you want.

Ehh, I didn't enjoy the Deimos open world so much, and there's something about the iso vaults that just annoys me.

That said, I'd totally grind out a necramech rather than buying. Take breaks from it if you get frustrated, run a few missions a day, and you'll get there if your drop luck is reasonable.

If your drop luck is bad? just buy the parts from warframe.market

He didn't seem to be particularly difficult to rank up. Luckily I don't like nekramechs so it didn't matter much to me anyway.

I imagine in some ways it isn't quite as easy now as people aren't hitting the missions as hard now as they did when it first came out, but it probably is still available at all times, just doesn't have everyone as overloaded going to the missions anymore.
