how do i switch between warframes?

hello people, im chris, and im new to warframe.
i have played through the tutorial part of the game, i completed ''vor's gift'' quest, and i was told that any path is open for me from now on.

but.. HOW can i switch between my other warframes?
(for example, on my inventory i have my starter warframe, ''excalibur'', and i also have ''ember'' (from twitch prime's older rewards))...

so how can i switch between excalibur and ember?
do i have to access a new menu in order to play as a different warframe?
i hope that my question makes sense, and that you will help me out, thanks.

PS: its needless to say that im VERY impressed by how beautiful this game is, and how great its lore/story/species design is...
i absolutely love the way all those warframes are designed, and the battle mechanics are truly impressive too.

In the arsenal, when you hover over your equipment, you'll see options for equipping, modding, and changing their colours and appearance

If you want other warframes, the best place to start would be defeating the planet bosses for warframe parts (systems, chassis, neuroptics) and then building them in the Foundry. The warframe blueprint itself is usually sold on the Market

Do you know where the arsenal is in your oribter? (the ship you hang out in missions) you go there and equip the warframe you want.

It's actually very simple. Go to your arsenal (where you equip your weapons and such in your orbiter) and then hover over Excalibur and you will see equip come up. Click on equip and then you will see your ember. You will also see other warframes there that will have platinum attached to them. Don't worry about those at this time as all warframes (minus prime frames that are vaulted) are available in game and are really simple to obtain as you progress through the game.

good... so i should go to the arsenal section in order to switch between warframes...

Just a heads up. Its the same.process to switch between your collection of the 3 weapon types.

In the arsenal you will also see a selection of tabs at the top. One is for.your pets or robot companions, another is your utility items or Gear Wheel" The scanner quest catches a few people out here when told to equip it and lasty your vehicles aka Kdrive and Archwing.

aha, so if i will ever need to equip the scanner for the scanning creatures missions, i will have to use the tabs for my utility items/the gear wheel!

You can also assign hotkeys to different slots in the gear wheel, through the game settings

No more fumbling with an awkward wheel, just press one button
