Are the newer Warframes really that tedious to get or not really?

Talking Warframes such as Dagath, Citrine, Quorvex, Kullervo - Due to my activity in the past year or two being rather on and off (more off than on) - my usual plan was to just buy them with Plat as I already did with other frames which require a lot of farming. But instead of doing this, I at least want to attempt to get them the normal way.

I have been told their acquisition can be pretty tedious and their mechanics aren't that new. And I'd rather use my plat for fashion. Are these 4 frames really that tedious?

Quorvex, Citrine, and Kullervo you can buy the parts from their own vendor if it doesn't drop. Dagath you have to get the "key" from syndicate to access the farming node.

I think it have gotten easier imo.

Dagath - Parts are easy to get, just buy from the dojo. Vainthorns, however, are a bit tedious. If you're able to, take a friend and go steelpath.

Citrine - Her drops are rotation C of Tyana pass mirror defence, and a decently low chance at that. You can buy her parts, but that still requires quite a few Tyana pass runs. I felt this grind drag personally.

Quorvex - Easy. You'll likely get a few parts just levelling Cavia anyways, buy whatever is missing with Cavia rep after getting the Helminth segment

Kullervo - Requires farming special currency from duviri. Not too many runs really, didn't feel that bad.

Those 4 are actually easier than many previous, as they all either have no RNG or have a anti-bad-luck mechanics allowing you to buy them with materials that are guaranteed drops.

If you don't like mirror defense, citrine will be a drag, but Protea takes you to a literal hell void. all the new ones are easy.

That sounds solid enough. As long as it's not gonna be another Nidus or Hema, I'm glad.

Citrine and Voruna are kinda bad. The rest, not so much.

Citrine is one of the few frames I don't have subsumed because it was just miserable farming her.

Dagath, Citrine and Voruna are all protected by a maximum grind system with their respective currencies

Compared to Hildryn, Baruuk and Khora they are not even close to being bad grinds

acquired Dagath very easily

same for Qorvax

have not obtained Citrine or Voruna as of yet , becuz yes they rely on a lot more time-sink and less favorable drop-tables

Kullervo is time-gated due to not always being available , and requires running Duviri again/over/etc so for some , he just comes along with the rest , for others its very out-of-the-way of their typical loop

Personally, I had more problems farming normal warframes from the previous content (like Khora, Gauss and Saryn) than with the latter (well, until Duviri appeared)... Repetitive? Yes... But at least you have the option of acquiring them with the currency that the missions give you to obtain them. The others were basically just luck.

Not sure how anyone could say they're more grindy than old frames since those old frames are typically the same amount of grinding but without the option of getting blueprints directly for resources/currency gained inside the missions to farm them. Like if there was a currency only obtained from Infested Salvage that let you purchase Nidus blueprints if you weren't getting them from that specific mission which is the only place they drop.

The only one i bought with plat was Citrine.
The rest were much less tedious to get.

As someone who also takes breaks for multiple months I have to say some of the more recent frames are quite forgiving in how easy it is to farm them.

Dagath is simple and at this point buying keys for the mission is kind of nice to have SOMETHING to spend syndicate standing on.

Citrine is probably gonna be plat for me as I have a life.

Kullervo doesn't seem bad either, I've got decent progress toward him without focusing on it.

Quorovex I've had bad luck at Cavia missions so no BP's for him yet.

2 you didn't mention that I had to get after my last break was Styanax and Gyre. Styanax is easy though time gated for stock you can earn each week. Gyre I got lucky and had all the blueprints within a day or two.
