So after completing the Cavia syndicate, it unlocks a pretty nifty feature though I myself am a bit iffy with it

The trio states their colors they want to be, and you then unlock the ability to customize our animal friends

Now I just made Tagfer into a warm-pink/crimson coloration
Bird 3 has a Chocobo yellow plumage, with light orange tail and a darkly yellow belly
Fish'o-nacci is a teal into light green spotting, with a purple ball, sack, thingy to note his imperfect change

I just wonder what did most others do?
just went ham and made your own colors, or followed the given canon color?

Bird 3, a Cassowary (they are dangerous).

If only this coloring actually did something - like at least them having special voicelines, if you pick their desired color from that lore titbit in the end... Lotus customization AT LEAST changes her portrait during the missions when she talks to you. But even then, still pointless. Cavia customization tho..? When they literally remain only locked into this small content island and nowhere else in the game? Bruh… Worst max rank reward, ever.

I don't remember my exact colors but I did want them to be similar to how they say they want to appear in the cut scene. How could I say no to Big Bird 3?

To me it's even worse than pointless, after you unlock that it's clear they have no integrity for the storytelling and just wave anything away as "muh Eternalism"
