so garuda shield is broken unless they fixed it to actualy block facing enimys
Idk, i've never heard of it nor had any problems with her shield blocking damage.
Not that I'd blame anyone for forgetting these frames exist considering their acquisition methods.
That's not really the main reason. The ability to use it on a single enemy and nuking entire room of them due to the damage link is the point really.
Also, Valkyr claws are a terrible weapon compared to well, claws as in the melee weapon type even.
Oh, and of course both Kullervo and Voruna get passive heavy attack efficiency. On other frames you are gonna nuke your combo.
Her claws and Hysteria stance are very capable of filling the combo counter in a very short time. Hysteria is rife with multihit spinning combos that shred everything too close. It's only real downside I could mention is a lack of mobility, and that's more of a situational and personal preference consideration. As a sparring weapon, Valkyr's claws use the Rising Ashes heavy attack, which comes with powerful slam attack and lift proc. Activated for a single heavy strike, it can be used as an efficient burst attack and full heal.
Also, you're invulnerable while it's active. Not protected by shield gating, not covered by a layer of extra health. Blade-catch-a-lightsaber-and-pull-it-from-the-Jedi's-grip invulnerable.
Valkyr is not a complicated chassis. She does not have lots of feedback loops or mechanics to manage. She has all the subtlety of a battle ax. She is the choice for someone who focuses on the battlefield, not their UI.
If you're the sort of player who loves maintaining rotations and executing metas, you'll become very bored with her very quickly. If you're the sort who forgets you even have guns as you hurl yourself around the room tearing apart liches, acolytes, and archons up close and personal, you'll have a good time with Valkyr.
And he just pushes enemies everywhere.
If we are talking about non talon invincible warframe that excels using melee, Gauss is just the best one to that spot and also for general melee combat.
Best warframes for melee combat:
Gauss > Wisp > Saryn (Venon Dose is crazy) > Garuda > Baruuk > Excalibur = Valkyr.
I'd put Garuda in first place, but the others are more useful, easier to play and more flexible than her, and i didnt mention some warframes such as Ash, Voruna, Kullervo, Khora, Atlas, etc...because theyre just memes. Might be fun, but not the best choices in the latest content steel path.
You can always pick Inaros, Revenant, Rhino, Nezha, Nova, Zephyr, Hildryn, Limbo and so on. Theyre great, they will work as a melee combatant, but they aren't really focusing on the melee combat. I personally use Nova very often for general content.
