If I make a steam account to buy tennogen stuff and pc exclusive stuff, can i link it to my existing warframe PC account?

I linked my ps account and PC account today, but I downloaded the warframe launcher version of the game instead of the steam version for PC. Am I doomed now? I can't buy the steam stuff for PC acct ever? Or can i link my pc version to my steam acct

Warframe own launcher and steam launcher doesn't matter, you can use it on steam.

Though the first time launch on steam will ask you to link it to steam so you can use steam wallet to purchase currency and tennogen stuff on warframe.

So i can sign in to the warframe launcher on my steam account? I dont understand what you mean that I can use it on steam. Do i have to download the game a second time then? Like download it on steam?

Think of it like Genshin or Fortnite, you can use the warframe account you made on PSN or Xbox or PC. Steam is just a way you can log on warframe as well as EGS launcher.

There is however limitation with warframe, like some stuff would not carry over. But majority of stuff would stay the same.

I'm just saying that the first time you log on to warframe through steam, it will prompt you to link your warframe account with steam and then you can make purchases using steam wallet.

TennoGen items have been updated with an ingame description that reads:

"TennoGen has unique rules. Items purchased on PC directly support the community artist. TennoGen purchases on PC can only be accessed on PC."

I use the Warframe Launcher as well. I do have my Steam account linked to the same account I use on the Warframe Launcher. I can buy something through Steam, and use the equipment through the Warframe Launcher. I can't buy something through the Warframe Launcher or see the items available in the store. I only have one version of the game downloaded, I just go to the Tennogen store on Steam and make the purchase I want. I usually have to restart my game for it to take affect.

I believe I've read that you will not be able to use the Tennogen items outside of PC though, so on your PS you won't see those same fashion frame items. I don't know how that directly works, if you had your Volt fashioned up, maybe it just resets it to default when you log into PS? *SHRUG*
