Nezha's gender

I know it's useless information, but I need to know. Is Nezha a boy or a girl? Because in the Nezha profile trailer, the Lotus assumes Nezha to be a boy while people think Nezha's a girl judging from the pose that warframe makes. So which is it?

Some asume its female cause the head.While its a guy just put together from different sources.You remembet Chun Li from street fighter ( her head ) with her cloth hanging down.Whats causing the confusion same like with Equinox ( whats a female frame ) what only represent Yin and Yang ( day and night ).

The character "Nezha" was a prince if i remember right, so he was a male, which means the Warframe is also supposed to be a male.
Also if lotus refers to him as "he" then he's definitely male, what other proof do you need?

Geez, guys - two clicks in google. It's a mythical deity and it's a boy - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nezha_(deity)

That is unless DE specifically stated otherwise. But since it was a China-exclusive warframe for a time I doubt they would want to screw with their mythology this way =)

In Buddhism there is the concept of deities coming down to the human realm to guide people on the path to enlightenment. When they come they can take on many forms, male, female, or other organism. Thus, many have various depictions to go along with the different stories of their deeds.

Furthermore, as Buddhism spread across Asia, various deities changed sex to assimilate with deities of local religions. The transformation of Avalokiteśvara in India into Guanyin in China is a very good example of this. Also much of ancient East Asian aesthetics for the most desirable traits in males are what are regarded as feminine or gay in modern American society. One can refer to the Japanese character of Genji as a good example. Therefore ancient asian art will draw men with many feminine features.

Nezha can be whatever you want he/she to be. I like to see her as a girl :)
