Help with New War quest.

I'm at the part where it says I have to use the railjack forward artillery to destroy the murex. It seems that Im doin no damage to the ship while the smaller ships swarm me and I keep having to start over.

iirc, I had to focus fire the little ships first, and then quickly move to the forward artillery to do. My railjack was extremely basic, and I think it took me about 3 attempts.

When you get to then artilery part just shoot exactly where the marker is and that did the trick for me.

Mkne was very basic too, have put not much time into railjacks.

Mine is THE most basic. I was firing right into it several times it seemed. I also focused the smaller ships but it seems I never have enough time before it restarts me. This is super frustrating. I was even trying to use the murex wreckage as cover from the main ships blasts.

Oh and btw if you shoot all the minor ships down, more will just respawn. That this dumb quest locks you behind the rest of the F**KING gameplay is so STUPID.

As if all of the above wasnt the worst quest design ever. When It respawns me it doesnt replenish my artillery ammo. So now Im stuck here unable to advance farther in the quest. If I restart the game it sets me back several steps behind from where I was.

Guess im uninstalling now.

Before starting doing my Call of the Temprestaari quest[warframe.fandom.com], I've purposedly ran RailJack (RJ) missions in order to manage upgrading all my ("Protoss Phalanx") RJ vessel's parts to at least be Sigma III rank.

And that eased a lot my start of that quest and further eased that part of The New War quest[warframe.fandom.com] because in the mid time while trying to farm another (regular) Oberon now that it was wall gated behind 'RailCrap' *Errm* RJ missions I've managed to get a few Zekti brancd parts to place inside it.

Do you know what the forward artillery is? It sounds like you're still at the pilot seat, using your normal turret guns. The forward artillery is the turret station on the wall behind the pilot seat. It drops you down to the underside of the ship, to use a big charge-up cannon.

Oh crap. Yea I was using the middle mouse button thinking that was the artillery. Thanks for this!
