my own topic on WF forum got deleted?
I am only here because I'm sure talking about this on the WF forums will result in that post also being deleted.

A few weeks ago I posted on the WF forums of a bug where I had the misfortune of being soft locked during an Index run. 4 people, at the end of a round it was split 2 stay, 2 leave. At the last possible split second the other person that was going to stay with me chose to leave. They also happened to be the host. I don't recall a host migration but nevertheless the game seemed to be alright and was going to start the next round. Well, it didn't. I stayed there for a lot longer than is normal waiting for even the announcer to say anything but was stuck looking at the snow arena like it was a fresh game. The only thing I could do was force the game to close and restart it.

I went to the WF forums and posted the bug and didn't think anything about it because I am forgetful at times. I logged back onto the forums today to check on a comment I had made to someone that posted about a problem they were having but they went back and removed all traces of their own problem and just replaced their original post with "problem fixed, Idk how to delete a post..." where I had seen that there was a notification that someone had reacted to my own post. I clicked on the notification and then was met with "you do not have permission to view this content." That tells me that my post was deleted with zero explanation. That also tells me that DE really doesn't seem to care about fixing issues like soft locks, however they're made.

Is this normal for DE to do with bug reports? If it is then I'm not sure I want to play a game owned by a company like this. Sure there will be people that say " well then don't" but I have found this game to be a lot better than most, both in terms of game play and the fact that this is the only issue I have had with the game, so far.

I will continue to play this game because I do find it entertaining and that I have found nearly no bugs in it aside from what I mentioned above. I just don't think this is the way to go about potentially acknowledging an issue, because I have no idea if the issue was acknowledged nor if it was even forwarded to anyone that can do anything about it. I've worked in the customer service industry for far too long in my life and doing something like this would quickly get me reprimanded or even fired.

Just repost the problem on the official forums.

that's where it was originally and seems to have been deleted without explanation. I did say that I had done that, it's the second sentence of this post. I have sent in a ticket for this to see if there might be some resolution, but I can get a faster answer here.

I can see the post being locked with a reply from a mod or dev saying it's been noted or has been previously reported, but to just delete the post entirely does not instill confidence in issues getting fixed.

I also attempted to look for the reply I had made to that person that had previously reported an issue but then completely rewrote their topic, but that seems to have been deleted as well. I checked "Content I posted in" and "Content I started" and both are empty.

I understand complaining here, but there is nothing any of us can do. Best you can do is open a support ticket and explain what happened. Not sure what other option there is.

is this your topic?
https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1373997-the-index-bug-with-host-migration/

I see quite a few topics about the same situation there, one may be yours, maybe your topic was merged somewhere given that it's a common issue.

It was probably a duplicate issue, didn't provide enough information, or was in the wrong section. It might be possible your post was merged/moved but idk much about warframe forums.

That is not my topic. I posted mine 3 days later. I did a forum search for at least "Index" maybe with "bug" and found nothing which is why I made my post. They could at least just lock the topic with an official response saying it's a known issue or has been noted. Thanks for giving me some sort of resolution that this has been reported more than from just me.
