you have to equip the Necramech Summon into your gear slot (wheel)
after that you can summon it by using the equipment wheel while in the plains....
hope that made sense...
https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Necramech_Summon
No , go to your arsenal , then go to your gear wheel (3rd tab) , then add the summon nekramech there , after that once you get into the plains you can just bring up your gear wheel and select your nekramech and it'll drop where your weapons reticle is aimed.

But, almost everyone in every source when it comes to warframe is known for being wrong, so, not much to do but cast a wide net.
In this case voidrig would definitely have been the better option. It's not the end of the world, but voidrig would probably be better for getting into content with high entry barriers, EG eidolon hunting.
Meathook and firing line make you pretty much invincible. If you grab a Corvas Prime you can absolutely hold your weight and not have to worry about energy as much in comparison.
but yeah, nothing wrong with it, enjoy the Necromech.
This game is full of little pitfalls like that, feels a tad bit predatory in my opinion.
Yeah, you did.
You have the whole star chart to tackle, Arbs for Galvanized mods, and hunting Eidolons has nothing to do with the archon bounties - a lousy way to farm Quill standing.
Amps and your focus trees are unlocked after you complete the story line/quest, the War Within. Those are needed before anything else the New War unlocks.

With that said: Voidrig isn't a meta pick. Voidrig actually sucks in terms of eidolon hunting. Anyone capable of blowing off limbs without one will go without one, because swapping in and out of a necramech is slower and is an overall pain.
It's good because the damage it provides is the bare minimum for a lot of gated content. With how cheap and accessible it is, and how expensive and time consuming the alternatives are, not taking advantage of it is a huge mistake for a new player.
I can blow the limbs off an eidolon without one, so I don't care which I use right now. Neither is better than the other for me. For our friend, though... yep. That's a mistake.
VoidRig's Arquebex is teh highest effective DPS in the game , but it requires u to be a stationary turret , that works for some , and it was meta for eidolons for awhile
Bone Widow's Ironbride is excellent for killing the sentient Condrix and by using this alongside a Fluctus archgun , it is a potent combo
also its fun as BW to grab enemies with meathook and toss them into each other after you absorb their life energy to power your shield
