this game is so damn confusing

there so many different options and there so much stuff and i have no idea what to do i played the game for a bit when the game came out but i wanna get back into it but im overwhelmed and it makes me not wanna play lmao i try to do missions but then i have no idea how to access them and then there all these planets and buttons on them and i click a flashing one then theres even more options and no where it tells you what any of this does and then i do the mission get some stuff that dont do anything? and im back at my ship no idea what the hell im doing and it diddnt advance anything im still stuck at square 1

Maybe try watching some Gameplay Videos of it on YouTube like a Lets Play or Stream

But i think you should first do some of the Star Chart Nodes, you can acess the Mission Select / Star Screen in your Orbiter and do the ones on Earth first, then do what is required for the Junctions and go from Earth to the other Planets through the Junctions, do the blinking Missions.

best also to join a Clan early because from there you can also get blueprints for weapons in the bio or energy lab

check your graphic video settings, keybinds and so on

from quests you can also get some warframes

You can access the Star Chart from your Orbiter, right at the beginning up the 'stairs' next to the workbench/crafting station

from there you can see all the various planets but start with earth, the blinking ones are the ones you havent done yet, complete them all and do the requirements for the Junction and from there travel to the different planets, complete their nodes and junctions etc

Star chart is the planets when you goto navigation.
Completed nodes are white while uncompleted nodes are blue.
Push your quests as they unlock content.

Oh and you will eventually get to the open world areas, but besides quests ignore the progression in those areas for now. Cetus, Fortuna and Deimos's (forget name off head).

think one of the quests i have for a junction requires me to go to deimos like the middle bit i think

You won't discover and learn everything at once (it's impossible), focus on 1-3 goals you want to achieve - farming a warframe, a weapon, or a puzzle in a spy mission, whatever, but to complete it. Don't do defense missions for one round, just try to last 20 minutes (better rewards), etc. The most important thing is to enjoy it.

Unfortunately, I often meet more and more people who are retarder&toxic and if you don't know how something works, they immediately write "I'll report you right away because you ruined my mission" - don't worry about such idiots, always ask them politely what you did wrong and let them explain.

what are the prime warframes i got a couple from twitch prime but never know what they do im currently rocking the one that makes that pod and gives out wisps?

Prime warframes and weapons are for the simplest way to explain it a higher grade of that paticular item.

Several ways to earn them.

Two and a half paid ways
1. Buy prime access packs.
2. Buy the regal aya resource from the store to get primed gear from the prime resurgence store area
3. Buy platinum and trade (you can earn platinum through your own sales too)

Grinding way:
- eventually you will start to earn void relics. These look like "Lith V10 Relic". You can run fissure missions to open them and hsve a chance at one of 6 items inside. Coolect the blueprint and all the parts and you can build that prime item.


ALL THAT SAID do not worry about prime gear now. Get used to the game and this stuff naturally fits into the picture. And dont go randomly buying stuff from prime access or resurgence without a bit of research. May find that the stuff available does not fit your play style and or warframe.

In the end its the mods you collect that can turn any weapon or warframe from "ok" to godly no matter normal or prime.
