they speak about the incarnon version of it which can slay pretty much anything in the game
Get off social media, it rots your brain clearly.
he made a correct observation? right based on what? confirmation bias?
Again, just talk for yourself, if YOU think the torid is OP and have some stuff to back that up, thats good enough, dont pretend your opinion is the opinion of the majority of people.
and im basically not on social media because it is just a depressing place full of stupidity like this....
It is why DE never nerfed the Stug. Sure snowballs of interger overflow dmg sounds fun but it gets boring fairly quickly.
- Unique QoL: body shot charging (because headshot only would be garbage with its limited ammo and projectile type) + chaining beam. The Angstrum also has body charging and is quite strong too, but lacks the chaining for easier clear speed.
- Shared Incarnon QoL: near perfect ammo economy (especially useful with the recent boss that has a massive health pool in SP and limited ammo drops throughout the fight)
- Base toxin: easy viral + munitions for general mob-clear, saves a mod slot for corrosive + radiation for the new murmur faction, lets you work with the "new" toxin-proc primary arcane for crit damage and multishot (also useful on the new boss depending on your mod settup or a riven)
Almost any other incarnon (or other strong weapons like the Nataruk) could also do the things the Torid can, but may require slightly different mod settups or more effort to charge by requiring headshots. Right now the torid is great because it is easy to mod for the new faction and the new boss has a limited time window for headshots making charging "normal" incarnons more finicky.
