is it really worth it to use a second primer?

i got an epitaph and a ignis wraith which totals into 6 different statuses not including physical procs. accompanied with garuda talons, is it truly worth it to include so many procs? since it certainly takes longer to do so.

what do you think?

edit: gonna specify that im doing lvl 200+ missions (circulus on the moon)

more than i do. i dont even use a primer honestly. i usually run bleed procs but if im not im running corrosive / heat MAYBE viral / heat but i dont do alot of set up. like content creators talk about using maduria and void slinging twice for that ability dmg or castting speed. not this warframe players. thats all too much XD

1 primer's enough. Since you're using Garuda, all you need is area viral to multiply your slash procs.

If you're priming a single target, just use Secondary Encumber on Kompressa or a high fire rate secondary. You'll be at max stacks for all 13 statuses in no time.

So you're just meleeing everything?
Kinda unoptimal to not have a ranged clear option, many of the primary weapons can do it faster than Garuda can ult.

I just use the damage proc built into a primer secondary through arcanes, not necessarily the best thing out there but relatively hands-off compared to cycling even two weapons.

unfortunately, braton incarnon does not get the on-kill bonus from galv. aptitude. and braton incarnon is my only room clearing primary aside from nataruk. and im burnt out of nataruk.
besides melee only is still fun despite not being as optimized as i would want it to be. garuda just doesnt have as good defense as zephyr, for example. i think the damage is amazing so far but you're right, the lack of safer ranged options does kinda kill the survivability.

Working with Epitaph priming and the Incarnon charge accumulation mechanics at the same time doesn't sound like much fun so I get why you asked now.

given the fact that pets can now slap down multiple stacks of 3-5 status effects there is no reason to have a primer at all in 90% of use cases

the primer meta was a lot of stress and therefore less Players use this anymore. one primer should be enough and someone mentioned the Kompressa already.

the main issue with 2 primers above lvl 200 is the missing damage in general, that Slot is for a heavy ranged Hitter.

your arcanes, Pet Setups and Operator Trees should synergize there to underline the non Primer Weapon, otherwise you will find yourself in a Melee Hack and Slash Scenario too often!

The Incarnon Adapter Weapons and even the OG Incarnons are extremely helpful here, so you wont find yourself with your meelee as the #1 damage dealer. Try to avoid that, therefore 1 Primer max! A ranged Option means more Survivability!

you will find several arcanes working like Condition Overload but on ranged weapons, Cascadia Empowered and similar Arcanes. So one Primer should be more than enough.

there is a good YT Channel about such things, it is called Aznvasionsplays and it will show you Synergies with non meta weapons and frames. He uses pinpoint accurate Setups, so you wont be stuck with a melee after a certain level. Ranged Incarnons fill that Slot!

There are a lot of Builds specifically for Garuda on his channel!
