Weapon/Warframe Slots

Hey new player, done all the nodes currently available to me on the star chart (Not including the railjack) and working on making my Necramech for the story progression into The New War . I've capped on weps/warframes a couple of times, and have deleted weapons in the past (Later learned you keep them as they make mats for combined guns later).

Just wondering if there is any sources for free Warframe/Weapon slots I might not know about. Done a small amount of relic farming and trading for plat for a few slots, but just wanted to double check in case there was any other sources in game. A quest I may have missed or a mechanic that might reward them?

Any tips welcome, gotta grind that MR

Thanks I'll buy the Nora ones, I didn't know they came with slots that's huge!

ya. if you get a pre built item like a warframe, weapon, or companion, they come with a slot. you can sell the item it came with and keep the slot.
but nora gives 2 slots at around rank 5, and one later on every single time she comes up.
items obtained that are pre built also come with a builtin reactor/catalyst too

Each Nightwave season give one warframe and two weapon slots. After that you have to either wait 50% or better discount coupon, buy 500-1000 platinum and spend it on slots or trade platinum with other players.

Do not spend platinum on warframes or weapons in the Market. They are overpriced and not worth it when you can just farm them which is your gameplay content anyway. You can spend it on one or two color palettes and cosmetics if you are absolutely sure you don't need more weapon/ warframe slots for a while.

There are codes and giveaways that give you a weapon/ warframe and it comes with its own slot. Selling that weapon/ warframe will free the slot for a new one.

I think they just gave away some as twitch drop rewards for watching a Warframe stream too.

I had 50 plat when I came back and instantly missclicked it on two rushes on blueprints - not the best feeling.

But after someone explained the trading to me, it's not been so bad, feel I'm just outpacing the caps.

Before selling your weapons, first level them to the maximum so that they give you mastery points. In addition, several weapons are crafting materials to build others, so I recommend checking the market (putting the name of the weapon you want to discard) in order to know if it can be used to build another one and buy the new blueprint that requires said weapon as a component... This way it is consumed as material and you free up a slot. There are even blueprints that require more than one weapon of the same type or different ones, it is good to pay attention to avoid long construction times.

Some weapons are used for incarnons now, keep those ones.

you can sell relics (less) and prime parts from opening relics (more) for platinum to other players. Then use the plat to buy more slots. Or just buy plat from the devs. The weapons used as ingredients for other weapons are always easy enough to remake, so don't worry about it. I don't keep anything long term unless its a 'prime' version.
