So I was about to do "The New War" quest, but in order to do this I need to craft a voidrig, So in order to do this I had to increase my standing with the family on Deimos in order to have blueprints for some resources. Now once I've grinded enough to craft these resources I know have a quarter of the resources needed for each of the voidrigs components. There're four of them. Each of the components requires a resource, the blueprint of which can be bought from a merchant in Deimos each of which requires a different level of standing to use. Following along? No? Too bad, now assuming you could craft all of these components for the voidrig itself, Then once you've waited twelve hours for each you can craft the Voidrig with a 72 hour craft time. All for something that has a fifteen minute role in "The New War." The quest I was originally trying to do. Welcome to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ warframe!

Bonewidows are actually pretty damn good, tank like crayzie and hit like hell with their melee ult... sure Voidrig hits hard at range but it has to be static to do that, granted bonewidows have fewer places their better using and most of the places necramechs are good in use a voidrig best...

But still Bonewidows are nothing to be negative about.

I don't see any real problem with Necramechs except that it appear too late for new players. It much more helpful on the Plains of Eidolon, than on Deimos. And it surely has not 'only 15 minutes in New War' role in gameplay

Yep has about 5mins of action in the new war quest

I guess you just stumbled on the New War Quest requirement and why you really need to do is pretty much farm your Deimos Standings and Resources

Farming the standing is pretty easy, just a couple T5 bounties on Deimos a day.
The resources can suck, it's true, but running relics to buy the assembled bits from Warframe Market will cut a lot of the worst of it.
After that it's just targetted farming for whatever rank up resources you need.
It's not ideal, but it's better than doing it all the hard way.

Bro I feel your pain. I've been farming for Voidrig just to be able to do New War. A friend streamed me the entire quest and you indeed use the Necramech for only 15 minutes l o l.
However I have to disagree with Necramechs being "worse Warframes" in high level missions and eidolon hunts they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ monsters, especially Voidrig.

I wished they gave more potential to the Necramechs :((

This right here ^ They helped me melt eidolons when farming them and even those tanky tank crawling/jumping machines that drop rare loot, roaming around cetus? or whatever the open world is called on earth. Hell even on Fortuna they are fun too

The open world on Earth is called Eidolon Plains, also the jumping machines are called Thumpsters ^^
Compared to Eidolons however they are a bit more easy to kill, you just need to have good aim, an archwing and a tanky warframe lol
But ye Necramechs are super useful against Eidolons ! I cannot wait to have mine

It is hilarious that the primary reason to do this horrible grind is to make the horrible eidolon grind faster. And that's the only reason to do it other than it being a progression requirement. Wish I could go back in time and tell DE not to waste their time developing necramech and railjack cause they were the definition of DOA. This game is basically a bunch of horrible grinds propping each other up.

The railjack is actually quite fun and I personally enjoyed call of the Tempestarii a bit, (Mostly because of the song) I just think the necramech is complete and utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ which is a shame since I really wanted to do the new war. However I'm somewhat annoyed to see that just when I'm close to done with one part another grind comes up
