Disappointing New Quest.

Heavily disappointing. The only good part of it was the 5 mins of 1999.

It was an annoying fetch quest with a boring book that did a very few interesting things and made you curious in where it was going all for it to abruptly end very quickly with little to nothing to come out of it. A giant waste of 20 minutes, to be followed aftewards with more grindy 'do these boring missions to unlock the thing' faction standing stuff I havent liked ever since plains of eidolon came out and has been done so many times over it makes you wonder if DE has any original ideas left in them.

Can't wait for 1999, thats what I wanted, it wasnt what this was.

For anyone who genuinely somehow enjoyed this I wish i did also.

I was also super surprised how short it all was, the pacing of the quest felt like it was going at mach 10. Really hoping 1999 will be what I thought Whispers in the Wall would be.

they somehow manage to dull my interest for 1999, i mean if this is the quality and the content of the long hauled and aclaimed whisper in the wall, mah they can keep the 1999 in theyre bags not something im looking forwards to anymore

thats fair enough. I only came back because I heard of the account merge and thats huge for me. I have been upset with most warframe updates since plains of eidolon...

And yeah I expected Albrecht to be a cold-blooded mastermind with elevated motivation. Like, he's a central character of the whole new questline and was teasered very long time ago, but his introduction plotline ended up being some sort of gay BS.

Idc that its gay, but even if it was Whispers in the Straight I feel exactly the same. Why did some mysterious character for the most part get boiled down to some relationship with someone where he kinda just left. Wasnt there a much more important grand narrative to tell here? Come one. I guess at least the gay makes it stand out slightly more I guess. Regardless, a boring trope romance thing thats been done over and over again outside the whole computer and 1999 stuff.

Same here with so much fuss about this spin about 1999 i did expected waaaaay more then this ,instead got gay drama about characters you just meet and couldn't care less. and another boring ass farming syndicate .Well off to something else till new quest will arrive in 5 years or so.

Storytelling isn't Warframes thing. It's more of an intro on how to play. Like a tutorial.

I like the update. It added new features and a new tile set that didn't bore me like deimos

i expected cool back to the past 1999 mission, i got a boring gay story with fetch missions.

the new stuff to farm isn't very exciting either and the new monster set, even if cool, are so slow and easy to beat...

good story helps getting immsersed in he game. and actualy makes me more enclined to farm in the game.

this new story was so boring and disapointing it makes me want to stop playing instead.
i don't mind there is a gay romance. my problem is that this gay romance IS the focus of this story update. which i 9000% don't care.

and then the new zone farming loop is zariman all over again but less interesting.
