Edit : So energize is now farmable in the new operation , the final nail in the coffin

Good. Eidolons should've been dead content years ago. Janky and trash mechanics and locked to certain times of the day. No thanks.

imo prices on those arcanes was stupidly high and more availability for those who take a few hours to sleep everyday isnt a bad thing.
maybe ill finally be able to get an energize build without spending 200$

well, it fall now because we have both book / mods that can gain energy, and arcane dissolve isn't a high chance to get arcane energize

odds really isnt that high of getting what you want from the arcane packs, its great that you can get it from another source other then doing eidolons so prices will drop, but its not gonna crash.

R3 used be the max in the past and r3 energize used to be 4k plat before eidolons were a thing and arcanes dropped from trials. When r5 became a thing I had to buy a bunch of new energizes to get it to r5. In total I paid over 8k for my energize. No regrets.

Also compared to those days energize isn't nearly as good right now because there are so many ways to obtain energy and because they added cooldown to it when they reworked arcanes. So even if it's cheap and easily obtainable I don't think that's an issue.

Not to forget that arcane steadfast is already better if your build has low efficiency.

Hmm, I don't really see how casual players would benefit from dissolving arcane type gambling for the chance at better ones, I mean just look at doing the same for better mods. Considering the cost and the need for a stockpile of arcanes to start it would suggest that the option is more aimed at players that already have run a sizable amount of arcane rewarding missions and all like Eidolons themselves. I am glad if it makes the upgrades more accessible but its probably not all that beneficial to newer players versus those that have just had a bunch of bad rng and would like to try their hand at a different game of chance.

I can agree with what you guys said , eidolon hunting is still THE best when it comes to arcane farming (it would be copium to say otherwise) Plus the amount of arcane needed for each arcane pack is not exactly easy to amass . Plus plus , the drop chance is only half decent at best. BUT thats not the point , the point is you now gain the ability to PASSIVELY farm for any arcane of your desire , let that sink in for a bit .
