Tusk Thumper

As usual, I must be doing something wrong. :) I blew the legs off 2 Tusk Thumpers and got zero rewards from both. They are easy to kill, but I expected at least an energy orb. :)

This. Resources drop under the Thumper when it explodes. I could only guess the fights happened on steep hill and resources fell through the ground and outside of the map OR Host Migration bugged the whole map and resources do not drop at all.

I just killed 2 more. One dropped nothing, the other dropped 3 useless, small items. I kill them with a Kitgun with 3500+ radiation. I can kill them in a couple minutes. I can't figure out what's going on?

What are the useless items? They drop stuff that you normally get by mining, fishing and higher variants can drop a weapon... so if you get that stuff you get what they should give...

Are you fighting the low tier thumpers? Only the bull and doma variants have rare/unique drops (along with better drop rates for common resources). You might also want to use Nekros, desecrate works on them.

"What are the useless items? " 1 Dentonite ampule, Char Eletroplax, and I think Karkina Antenna? Tell me that's a normal haul killing 4 Tusk Thumpers?

Yes, low tier, but still, that's real garbage drops. :) I'll try Nekros and a higher level.

I think the ampule isn't even a drop from a Thumper, it could be bugged that you got nothing or lost thru another way, but then we can do nothing to help you...

You could report it as a bug to DE tho.

I did a 20-30 level bounty. I killed a Tusk Thumper and got the proper rewards. It must be bugged.
