the only thing that might slow you down if you dont wanna buy a necramech with platinums is grinding for one in order to continue the story.
Thankfully finished Railjack manually now so I guess that's one less to worry about. Heard new war might be interesting.
But in general, thanks for the answers guys. really helps a lot. Gonna try and finish a few main missions during the holidays and see if I can finish it in a few days so I can catch up.
Your operator Amp. Make sure it's one you crafted and that it's decent at least.
Some claim the quest is doable with the starter mote amp and others say otherwise. But why make it difficult for yourself? The weakest craftable amp (111) is a far better option than the mote amp.
You don't need a beefed up Railjack and Necramech. You use them for such short periods, even if they're unmodded you'll do fine. But it wouldn't hurt to have the bare essential common mods on them.
The quest takes ~4 hours to complete so make sure you don't have other plans in-game before starting it. You can quit the game and resume the quest at any time but the rest of the game's content is locked out until you finish the quest.
The "soft lock" in new war is most likely the two railjack sections, with people going in with bare bones, unmodded railjacks with no intrinsics. It's still possible, but it's tough and people don't want to struggle at all. Even just getting the basic parts from clan dojo dry dock, preferably mk.III versions make it a cake walk. You really just need to increase the hull and shield stats a bit to survive, and not just sit in the areas that kill you without moving to the next safe area.
The necramech part is like nothing, even unmodded and unranked should be able to handle that with just the necramech and the base mausolon.
there is no difficulty at all really.
as long as you know what you're doing, you shouldn't have any issues.
just watch the videos and listen to instructions when they're given and you'll get everything on first try.
of 'quick'?
