Who`s the demon helminth reffers to?
Sometimes helmith when you exit say i will await this demon return? Is this the operator? Or he calls the frames demons? Or is an entire separate entity?

i mean lore-wise we Are piloting a genetically modified human ? Wouldn't be surprise if it is referring to us operator :/

I think it's the Operator. I've heard Alad V, Ballas, and Erra all use some variation of "Void Demon" or "Void Devil" when they talk to/about us, so I think Helminth is just another character who calls us that, though in its case, the term is less an insult, and more Helminth speaking matter-of-factly. It might just be a Void-Exposure thing, since the song Sleeping in the Cold Below uses the line "He's a man on high with a devil in his eye" referring to Parvos, who was trapped in the Void for years.

Ballas refers to the operator as Devil.

Erra tells Teshin to "summon your devil", referring to the operator.

The promo page for the quest being released this month has a quote from Albrecht Entrati: "If I must be a demon, let me be an honest one. Let me prove my nature by what I do next."

The helminth has three different lines about demons, which depend on the operator's choices in quests:

[Sun] (Light shines within this demon.)
[Neutral] (This demon walks the shadow's edge.)
[Moon] (Shadows grow within this demon.)

Anyway you can and/or wish to interpret it. :baa: It can be both the Operator / Drifter or the WarFrames (WF's) themselves. But considering that the WF's were mostly made out of Infestion in controlled environments, I'd dare wager that it (the Helminth) might actually more pointing towards us... or the combination of both Operator/Drifter when inside WF's. At this point, who really knows? :rocketsaway:

Highly alas, for most of the players interested upon the WF's lore wise, Digital Extremes (DE) always paid attention to leave everything as open as possible to further down the road be able to take the game's plot/story into whichever corner's of the Universe they desired... and thus far we're already with a MultiVerse (i.e. multiple Universes) scenario that has lead us into their Eternalism that allows both the Operator and the Drifter to coexist upon this Universe because of different timeline options taken along the road until we got where we're currently standing. :creatiboom: And from that point onwards... (pretty much as Hell can break loose.) :winter2019tiredbulb:

Just not to mention a somewhat still bug gallore, brat's nightmare called Du(mb)Viri(i) that has taken us further down the road of rogue lite kind of 'crap'... instead of DE actually paying "Beta Testers"[www.merriam-webster.com] for their upcoming Soul'Fork' game. :steamsalty:

It's the Operators/Tenno. The Void is considered by some to be Hell. Tenno were essentially "reborn" by the Void. Tenno are thus considered by some to be Demons.

Operators aka Tenno are considered "void demons" because they survived Void during Zariman incident and came back with their monstrous powers that defy space and time and life and death basically.
The helminth is referring to you.

it is an old word the Requiem Mods are using. Ballas, Alad and the Helminth know us by this word. It is Mara Lohk.

Google Warframe Mara Lohk, it will show you Lore Discussions about the Man in the Wall.

For all these NPCs you are Mara Lohk. The Void Demon.

Its supposed to be referring to the player's Tenno; not the warframe which it would consider kin. To many of the Orokin empire, Tenno were marketed both as mythical and more than a little terrifying.

what if... tenno and warframe are the actual bad guys in this universe lore, the one doing genocide and killing everything in their ways and the different faction is just fighting for their survival and interest that are seem bad? evil? from us 'player' pov?

Every time the Lore changes, there were Operations. You will remember every single one, you are a classic Player. The Veil was the first Syndicate.

This is what you are!

Cleansing for the greater Good in the most fanatical way possible. (Their Masks, like Stalker's Mask too, resemble the old Orokin Guardians.) Every Empire needs its Knights and Heroes.

Weapons without Purpose after the great Collapse, used by a Lotus we cannot even grasp with our little minds.
Remember that Prologue where you entered the Chamber where she used to be everytime she instructs you in a mission? What kind of Technology did you see in that chamber and where was it located?

Exactly! (!!!)

We are not the good Guys, we are the Cure Gotham deserves, the one the Red Veil doesnt need right now. So they will hunt us, because we can take it. Because we are not Palladino's Hero! We were a silent Guardian until the Reservoir came up! Now we are just a Tenno.

Kaelli is actually the only NPC ingame free from any Indoctrination, (Corpus)Ideologies or (Grineer)Military Structures! She is so concerned about Kahl sometimes, even tells him to abort missions to get out alive. A beautiful mind.

Everything else ingame is Business and therefore darker than you think. The Mara Detron Lore shows that the Pre-Corpus Era was of Orokin Origin! Parvos was an Orokin, he even had a Warframe Guardian!

You are used, Tenno. The Price of the coming Sanctum Supporter Pack will underline that.
