Cross-save is coming with Whispers in the Walls. They'll reveal the date at The Game Awards Dec 7th.

In the stream where they revealed it was coming with the next big update, they blatantly stated that founders and closed beta players would get access to the initial rollout of the account merging process earlier than everyone else.

They also said that anyone that hadn't made an account for PC yet after that stream ended would not be eligible for account merging in the first place.

Just a quick correction: the deadline was when the stream started and it doesn't matter what platform your accounts are on, if you had two accounts on different platforms before the dev stream started, you can merge them.
