im currently using the ignis wraith cause you dont need to aim for the spores on a target

Explosives and explosive adjacent weapons are good, too. Corinth, Tonkor, Penta, Simulor, Quanta, etc. Ignis Wraith is generally pretty good for status proccing though.

She's not really starving for damage, and it can almost be a good thing at first if enemies stay alive awhile longer with spores on them.

So, status ignis is basically the go-to. Hits everything easily, pops spores easily, CCs easily, and isn't really counted as an AOE with a drastically nerfed ammo count.
Easy to get these days, too.
