Steel Path is awful - its basically like trying to fight a brick wall with a soggy french fry and pretty much all of your builds are useless without the highest-tier equipment and broken rivens. Right now Steel Path only exists to get me the rest of Secondary Merciless - after that it means nothing.

Tell us you don't know how to play Steel Path without telling us you don't know how.
"You don't know how to play Steel Path"

Oh I'm sorry, I was unaware I was supposed to be playing a completely different game care to point me in the direction of the window you've been licking for the past hour?

Steel path is the main way to obtain umbra forma, so not entirely useless. Albeit it take a long time for the restock.

You claim players need the highest-tier gear and broken rivens to play Steel Path, which isn't even true? So I guess I'm licking the window where Steel Path is a cake walk once one understands how builds work or armor stripping works...

As far as my experience go, even if you use elements that Grineer are the most weak to and are greatly resisted by the other factions, it's still takes longer to kill Grineer than others with that setup.

Still I think SP Grineer are in a good spot to make player feel good about their builds being able to effectively shred them.

Armor Strip backed by Banes is an unknown Concept to you

They should make banes work like any other damage multiplier in the game.
While it's cool they are "worth the hassle", some of the top builds thesedays don't make any sense from looking at what the mods tell you in game.

I think it's more that the in-game information should make it more clear what the mods are doing. It should have some kind of breakdown tooltip or something showing you what the damage is vs a faction so you can see the difference stuff like the bane mods make.

The Bane mods are one of the worst offenders for being obscure to a new player, but basically anything to do with damage-dealing status effects is just as hidden.

steel path is a joke it's really all about proper modding and bringing the right frame for the mission. of course if you don't understand modding and are unwilling to use guides then you probably fall into a lot of newb traps like just stacking as many dmg mods as possible. honestly i think only interception missions can be kinda rough as a solo unless you have a stacked khora or something to hold multiple points for you

You were halfway to the right answer to SP Interception, but stumbled at the end.

You don't need a stacked khora, you just need a khora. Or vauban, or zephyr, or any frame that can put down a long duration CC that covers an area. Then it's practically an automatic win, and is in fact easier than normal mode.

Enter mission

Capture the closest point

Put down CC (stangledome, vortex, tornadoes, w/e) on the first point you just captured

Chill for a few seconds while enemies rush in and get grabbed by CC

DO NOT KILL ANY ENEMIES

Go capture the other 3 points, while making sure to refresh your CC on the first captured point

Enemies hit spawn cap

All enemies except maybe an eximus or two are CC'd

No more enemies can spawn unless some start dying, so continue not killing

Try to only knock the overguard off the eximus if you feel like it

Eximus gets CC'd

Wait

Hit 100% progress

Clear up all the enemies you've held in place the whole time

In normal mode enemies are weak enough to die to even weak CC abilities, but in SP they're usually strong enough to stay alive and stay trapped. The full spawn rate ensures they'll show up before they start switching target points, and that they'll hit the spawn cap within maybe a minute.

Enemies will switch target points if they die too much trying to capture the one they're heading toward, so don't kill them.

There is a spawn cap, which unfortunately is higher than 1 strangledome can hold, so make sure to put down 2, or use vortex or tornadoes that can take any amount.

Another useful Interception frame is a Max range Banshee. Her 4 can lock down at least 2-3 points depending on the tile, but it also locks her in place. That makes her less viable for solo, but really useful if you have even one ally to knock off overguard, pop nulifier bubbles, or kill the rare flying drones.

please dont quote me ever after your Insults.

The Bane Mods are NOT for new Players. The Bane Mods are also precise in their Description. I was precise in my Build Description as always.

Please dont ever quote me again. You never apologized for your words. Thank you, Canadian!

Most damages are additive, the reason behind faction mods is that they double dip on every single damage type you produce

aka faction mods are multiplying your damage
normal damage mods are only additive

So, you actually produce way more damage via maxed out faction mods...
exactly, 2GenL... they are the one of the reasons why we change our Builds a bit before every single Run. The Issue with Bane Mods for this Community is their Accquisition and the Need to understand and reflect on Builds in Depth.

No one does that, most simply copy their Builds from somewhere else. It is not needed in the Beginner Star Chart at all.

There are still Players, who have a single Build for the whole Game. Like a generalized way to play. Takes years to beat that out of a new Player and forge a Soldier.

Fair. I suppose it's unrealistic to expect that he would be smart enough not to deliberately try to stir up trouble again already.
