Are arcanes required

I don't rly like fighting eidelons at all. are there alternative or better ways to farm for them? Do I need fully upgraded arcanes if I want to start steel path at some point? ty

Not required but having it base on your builds and mission objective will help you in term of efficiency and feeling overpowered. There are tons of alternative like people already mention above,

Once u learn lures and sentient spawns, get semi-decent builds ( u really dont need much these days ) farming eidolons becomes a walk in the park

Getting carried is also an option, i mean, i found a guy to farm conclave standing with, so everything is possible at this point, ive seen accs with freakin thousands of captures, there are folks who dont play warframe, they play plains of eidolon

there are so many viable arcanes that only require faction grinds now but my go to grind is orphix as I have more fun doing that than eidelons because they still bug out for me. you're forced into madurai or else you do nothing damage even with a meta amp and meta amp arcanes. At least in orphix you're also generating other resources that are usable, but as others have said you can farm plat and buy the arcanes you want guilt free. I recommend farming aya, as 6 for 30 is much more and doesn't drop value with less rng than farming corrupted mods and the like.

Id skip the eidolons entirely, get acolyte arcanes instead

No they aren't required, but they do have some good ones in their pool.

Honestly, most of the arcanes I use don't even come from Eidolons. Weapon arcanes that I use are dropped by Acolytes in Steel Path. Some other arcanes I use you can get from the Zaramin.

99% of players do not know that the game code for enemy damage and defense resets every 200 lvl

NO men no body cares anymore arcanes you just do not stress , is not important just watch this players they demostrated that PLAYING IN TEAM AGAINST LVL 600 ENEMIES and new players does not know that . They are not necessary, but they are certainly useful.

The most relevant eidolon arcanes are usually included as Nightwave rewards.

The only eidolon arcane that is relevant is energize and you really only need it if you want to make builds with negative efficiency.

most of the "meta" arcanes arn't actually dropped via eidolons

I''d say the best frame arcanes are the ones given away as prized for certain Nightwave ranks. Duviri Circuit is another possible choice.

The good weapon arcanes that you need for Steel Path drop in... Steel Path. Other than those, the Cascadia arcanes are good, and purchased from Cavalero for Holdfast rep.
