and also a lot of frames.
It is a Racing Game.
You will find Steel Path after clearing all Intro Quests. This is the main Game.... Protea will overperform there, her Xoris wont, because:
The main Game (Steel Path) is only enjoyable after approx 3 years of Grind and dedicated Time and Plat Investments into your Builds. With such a Mindset the Xoris will overperform too at some Point.
Variety should also be the name of the game, so dont get too used to one Weapon or Frame, this will exclude a lot of Fun, Mod Science and personal Growth due to missing Time in the Simulacrum. Everything under LvL 65 should be no Indicator for anything for you, especially not for Balance or personal Performance! It was designed to appease to a casual Audience with Controllers and a romantic Sense for Fashion and other emotional Nonsense.
Dont waste too much time on the standard Star Chart. You brought this on yourself by starting new, Pakaku was right: That Xoris could be full of primed, Rivens and other Mid Game Mods right now, ready for Endgame with massive Steel Path Boni on Resources and Riven Accumulation!
All missions in The Steel Path have a +100% Resource Drop Chance Increase and +100% Mod Drop Chance increase over the same Mission Node in normal (non-Steel Path) Mode.
So yeah, the Training Wheel Star Chart is "unbalanced", i agree. But please respect Controller Users and new Players. They need that. This has nothing to do with Balance.
(also, what you're describing sounds like basically any glaive, and a well-used glaive is a powerful thing)
is this btw your first glaive?
how about steel path disruption with xoris ?
