why do some mods cost so much endo and credits?

30k endo and 1.7m credits to max out one mod is ridiculous, like i actually wonder if im ever gonna be able to max out even one of my umbra mods and not live in my basement never going outside

Sounds like you are grinding inefficiently. It doesn't take long to get all that, once you figure out the best way to go about things.

is not 30k is 40k endo and 1.9m for maxing 1 mod primed and there is ways to mid max farming of endo and credits

endo gains are slightly better later on in game. zariman bounties and arbitration/ railjack have a ton. you basically need to do railjack to get money anyway because index is too boring and tedious.

that's the thing, you don't "need" to max out mods. most enemies are low levels anyway.

You know all those duplicate mods you get hundreds and thousands of? Convert them into endo.

As others have said, there are better and better endo farms as you progress into late game.

- I personally love the Jailjack endo grind because you can farm so many things all at once. Assuming you have enough spare relics to not mind "wasting" a few on potentially not-full squads, the Void Railjack fissure missions are challenging, give relics as replacements, help farm the Tennet melee weapons, give RJ parts to sell for endo, give decent credits, and have a few other rewards
- There's also the weekly Maroo ayatan hunt for a slow but steady trickle of a few thousand endo a week
- Remember that Mods are forever. Once you have the mod ranked, you never have to do it again unless you want extra copies at different drain levels (I do this for a few specific ones like the corrupted mods).
- There is a dedicated Endo farm that has existed for years, but isn't particularly fun for everyone. Vodyanoi (spelling?) on Sedna. Bring a Nekros + a Khora with Pilfering strangledome + any other frames that will help kill things efficiently (Like a SpeedVa).
- You can also safely leave the various 10 rank mods at rank 8 for a VERY long time before the "needing" to finish leveling them. This will also save you forma on your builds because your mods will be 1-2 drain lower. Then work on maxing them out as you have the time.

Most importantly: DON'T BURN YOURSELF OUT. Take your time. Endo will eventually be a thing you barely think about. That might be a long way off, but it will happen eventually if you don't bore yourself to death in the meantime trying to brute-force it.
