How to get clan weapon blueprints without all the clan BS?
I haven't played Warframe in quite a while, and kinda want to get back into it. However I am one of those players that likes to find an objective (in warframe, making cool weapons) and work towards it.

But almost all the weapons I currently want to make are clan dojo only blueprints. I hate clans. No offense to people that like them, but i find a casual solo experience really fun, and since my gaming buds jump between games like crazy (admittedly I am guilty of the same thing) we never get very far in the clan/guild type stuff.

So is it possible to get clan weapon blueprints easily without dealing with that annoyance? I don't want to trade plat for them even if that is an option, but is it possible to just find a clan to just pop in, grab the blueprints i need, leave, and then be left to my lovely solo experience?

Also do i need to recraft that stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ key?

EDIT: I just read something about being able to invite people to visit the dojo... can you get the blueprints like that without having to joinclan/craftkey/leaveclan?

Just make your own clan and build your own Dojo. Have your friends join just to fill the roster. Doesn't matter if they play or not, you can still just run your own Clan by yourself and do your own research and blueprint production.

You'll still have the solo experience you want. And you'll have the joy of building your own Dojo, piece by piece, however you please.

You have to be a member of a clan to purchase blueprints from their labs, so you'll need to craft a key to enter the dojo and start replicating.

I'm sure there are clans out there that will let you just hop in, replicate everything, and leave.
Even if you hate clans, its not a big deal to join one, craft the key and purchase everything you need. Its a matter of 1 day and some minutes without platinum to rush the key.
Except you join one with anti bp leeching politics like mine xP

You can join my clan if you like. We don't really kick inactive players or anything, and as far as I can tell, I'm the only one actually running it. Most of our members have been gone for a long time.

Typically, I, or one of the other warlords donate to start the research for all clan weapons, and we have them all finished, so if you'd like, you can join my clan, and stay or leave at your leisure. IMO, it would be better to stay just so you won't have to rebuild the clan key and avoid having to wait the extra day, but it's up to you.

Just add me in game (PsydeFX) or give me your in game name, and I'll send out the invite.

I've seen some clans make players wait to even be invited just to avoid them joining and grabbing BP's, and then leaving. I personally don't see the point of it as adding a new member is a few simple clicks or keystrokes. I add everyone, regardless of whether they plan to stay or not.

Well the higher ups in clans can set who can be in the dojo and also make it who can host so even if you can enter the dojo you still will need an offcer to host it. Might sound stupid but the more members you have the higher things cost and so when less people are contrubiting it really starts to hurt

I didn't know you could set those kinds of restrictions. I rarely actually check into everything available. I just build what rooms we need and keep an eye on our member count, but since our clan is semi inactive, we never go over our current bracket lol. For an active clan though, I can see how that makes sense.

If PsydeFX didn't already offer, I'd allow you to join up for grabbing research and leaving as well.

There's a lot of Warlords of Ghost Clans that wouldn't mind the same thing, I'm sure.
But if you want a goal in Warframe and something to call your own, I'd recommend building a dojo on your own. Apart from Forma there's nothing expensive about it.

Yep, I have a clan with 140 members ( number always change cause of kick and recruit work )
and we simply have our "newbie" rang without any rights. After a while, if the one is migrated in the clan.. we give him rights to host the dojo himself. B4 that he cant join.. there are a lot of bp leechers and we just had to do something about that.

Btw you see if someone is a leecher or not.. those ppl dont like to wait and just leave after 1-2 days.

But to help op out.. there are a lot of clans who just dont care.. just be honest and say why you wanna join.
There are some completely casual clans - I'm in Lone Rangers, for instance, a "soloer's clan";

"The Lone Rangers is a clan for any and all players who don't want to deal with the complications and formalities of joining a clan, but also don’t want to miss out on the dojo-exclusive goodies that were introduced with Update 8 and which will be expanded on in the future"

https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/67776-the-lone-rangers-soloers-clan-moon-tier-completed-dojo-clan-recruitment-thread-20-recruitment-re-begun/

No commitments, no need to do anything in particular or even read clan chat (although there are some good trade deals and people giving stuff away there sometimes ^^). Just post your in-game username in that thread, and someone will invite you.

(You can go right into the Dojo and grab everything...we have loads of closed beta, rich members and stuff just gets built)
