Like, if the content was the same but we played as our frames still I wouldn't mind it. It just feels like they want to stray away from the frames the whole damn game's built around. It's frustrating because it feels like Pokemon trying to, well.. stray away from the pokemon. Like they're trying to get rid of the "frame" in "Warframe" you know?
Obvious bull crap since story missions are always low level. No reason for anyone to build one for that trivial portion of the quest.
As long as that story content is "glorified cutscenes" and not some new war ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with locking you out of your warframe for hours. Games like this are not about the story just some epic narrative cutscene would actually be enough
Like Kahl and that corpus guy gameplay segments could've been fit into just two skippable cutscenes same with drifter and then you'd straight up start with your warframe maybe playing as drifter. That'd would be just AWESOME but no they had to make the worst quest ever
Before that some things were great, some things were terrible but at least you were offered the choice for the most part to play/avoid what you wanted to.
There are some things I enjoyed that others didn't, and some things others enjoyed that I didn't but that is normal for most games as we are all individuals and each have our own tastes. It is natural for players to come and go as games progress and evolve.
I left when it became painfully clear the devs were going in a direction that felt wrong to the version of Warframe I had become used to. There is nothing wrong with that type of evolution as I am a player and not one of the developers. It is their game/their vision not mine after all.
With over 5k+ hours in play I still feel the developers have provided me with an awesome experience and I have more than received my money's worth from the initial investment that I made.
While I can't attest to the content past New War I would still recommend this game to others with the confidence that there is really nothing to lose in trying it out.
Just remember that games and players both evolve over time so enjoy what you can while you can and don't be afraid of moving on to new things when the time comes.
hahaha, "haters" = anyone with a different opinion. You people really got to work on your language and reasoning ability.
There's a lot of valid criticism, but as per today's "fashion" you shouldnt say anything and agree.
Nah, haters = the portion of the fanbase that needlessly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about literally everything DE does and is never satisfied with anything they release, yet still stick around to play anyways. They hate for the sake of hating, have no realistic expectations of any kind, and despise change even though this game has been defined by change for almost its entire existence.
Don't fix what is not broken. The game is absolutely amazing and perfect at it's core it doesn't need to be something else
you're simplifying it for your own taste, change does not equal good. That change is exactly what's being discussed.
It can actually be the case that the majority of the changes do not fit senior players of this game.
It's so easy to brush aside everything in a "hater" box, like we seem to do with every hard topic these days.
Would DE announce they are just working on a new tileset for regular WF gameplay, people would be complaining regardless.
Actually, wait. They JUST announced a new tileset with new faction, but that apparently doesn't matter. Let's ♥♥♥♥♥ about 1999 instead, of which we know absolutely nothing. Might be regular Warframe gameplay. Might be a cinematic quest. Nah, let's ♥♥♥♥♥ and whine about it.
Facts! I can never understand how people always say that change is good no matter what and that is an "evolution"
