There is an option in the orbiter appearance change that add "rust" or "old" i don't remember the exact name of the option

EDIT: it is in orbiter appearance it is called Wear and Tear "amount" set it to 0

Go to equipment, orbiter, orbiter appearance, there will be a slider you can adjust how worn your interior looks.
Make them red, and it will look like you have bloodstains in your ship.

its already 0

Then from your last image it looks like it's more of a graphic's card rendering issue than anything else. And we all noticed that since the Du(mb)viri update the game got a tad more heavy both upon the PC's drive's resources and also upon my graphic's card rendering too (because when in open worlds now, all shadows load when I'm under the trees or below a cliff and all similar sorts of shoddy processing behaviours).

its not on my end the game is busted. previous screenshot is from a friends system heres mine.

got an rtx 2080ti.

That's just the texture. It's always looked like that.

The enhanced renderer is the default now, there is no "shoddy processing behaviours" going on.
