Are you looking forward to warframe mobile?

I used to play on my phone a lot when I was younger, most mobile games aren't worth even a slither of your time, so I'm quite excited about it. Besides grinding on a couch is quite convenient

Not really excited. Almost certainly means downgrade for everyone else so the mobile Version and mobile consoooomer can be in focus.

Mesa and other simple warframes exists so I'm not too worried about how playable it will be on mobile. Once you're far enough in the game a lot of the gameplay comes in the form of pressing buttons in the general direction of the enemies and watching them die, so I honestly think it could work on mobile. My only concern is open worlds, I have no doubt in my mind that trying to load into an open world on a phone will 100% turn my phone into a pipe bomb.

Well first of all warframe IS a cashgrab and second it's literally the same game. So when it launches you have to stop playing warframe since it's not a game and just nothing more than a cashgrab piece of ♥♥♥♥♥

agreed. surely it wont be fun for anyone involved to have squadmates who load forever?
at the very least I hope they wont oversimplify some game mechanics just to make the gameplay acceptable on phones..

i generally prefer carrying a nintendo switch or my ipad around rather than my bulky laptop. The only thing keeping me away from my dreams is lack of internet access and lack of the games that i want, including warframe with crossave

The amount of hotkeys, combined keys that are being utilised for the PC version already almost take up half the keyboard. So to shove all that functionality on a two dimensional touch screen would be interesting to see.

it wouldn't be that difficult, the keyboard layout is more complicated than the controller one iirc and it wouldn't be the first game to use the full controller layout on a touchscreen
obviously some controls would be annoying, especially being a shooter with such a focus on movement, but it's nothing new for mobile, and it would be much less an issue if they keep the controller support going

i don't care much for it on the phone specifically (people actually upgrade their phones? insane) but for tablet i'm all for it

I don't know what seems more difficult, a touchscreen on a tiny screen, or a touchscreen on a huge screen

mate did you forget that this is warframe? a free mmo with p2w features and paid cosmetics by the bucketload? They don't need to do anything, they already fit right in lol

To be fair, Warframe has the best P2W features out of almost any game I've yet seen. Not that it's really "pay-to-win", mind you. There's very little in Warframe that's expensive and that you can buy to get an edge. Potatoes and whatnot are very cheap, and buying new warframes or weapons doesn't really do anything but give you more options. Even Prime warframes and weapons don't give you that much of an edge - not anything that's very noticeable on anything less than level-cap endless runs, anyways.
