Is there a lore reason why warframes have breasts?

Seriously, ass has muscles so it makes sense, boobs are just fat and glands. Just sex appeal?

For the same reason prime frames are covered in gold ornaments of dubious combat value.

Clearly aesthetics mattered to their creators. Almost nothing in the Tenno arsenal has purely utilitarian, militaristic design.

The first Primes were people. The original concept. Orokin believe that the human form is a godly one.
Umbra was a one-off to try and get them to remain aware.

However, primes being original are kinda retconned considering all the stories of just people creating frames, like Nidus... I think.

The ones we make in our orbiter are mass-produced war machines; the infested tissue working properly. Primes, the old world schematic.

Only wrench in the gears of this, is that the defence objective in defense missions is called a "Warframe Cryopod" and has someone in it that resembles a normal human. It could be that warframes are still made of a human host, or to fit with your theory it could be that these people in the cryopods were candidates for warframe creation back during the orokin empire, but were never used, thus we are saving them from cryostasis.

The only problem with the latter theory is that then these people in the cryopods might have some orokin era knowledge that they are clearly not talking about.

Why would operators be found outside of the reservoir on lua, additionally, if that is an operator then why are they the size of adult humans and not children, all operators as far as im aware are all children, and seem to not age due to being void touched. Are you sure you are not mistaking DE for saying Operative? It is entirely possible that the people in the pods are Tenno operatives, not Tenno operators.

There really is nothing special about the ones you make in the Orbiter's Foundry lorewise, that's just a convenient gameplay element. Because that's how you resurrected Umbra and guess what, it's still Umbra as Ballas made him, not a mass produced machine version.

Resurrected... appeased... convinced... it's just vidya game for "unlocked".

Besides, if multiple characters refer to primes as originals, then what else are primes?

That's a good point, then maybe the others were indeed mass produced through cloning, maybe the schematic is genetic material.

The quests that revealed the operator were a very large lore dump.

Because, this was long ago before the second dream quest which changed a lot of lore. Before that we had no knowledge of the operators or age. When DE was asked about it they gave a f' off answer (or I qualify it as) that I have stated above. To my knowledge, as what its worth, the question was never answered again. So as far as things stand to my knowledge its a operator. Lore breaking and all.

In reality, it was a placeholder that they never got around to replacing i guess. I dont do many static defense missions anymore so perhaps they have replaced the place holder.

DE doesn't update or replace old content for the sake of making it fit with the latest retcons. They just leave it there. New players can still experience the story development over the years and see the changes that were made, provided they take care to avoid spoilers. They have a plot twist effect and so DE lets it stay that way.

Been around since 2014, through all those years i can agree, DE are as bad at addressing retcons as 343 Industries. I think its something they should really address sometime, also please DE for the sake of new players, integrate some of the story relevant operations and events throughout the years into some short quests, and also make the dang story cohesive.

Like seriously, new players are gonna encounter Alad V on Jupiter talking about amalgams with post cure scars, while also being the post Shadow debt version of Alad, then fight the dude talking about Zanuka, the Zanuka version of Alad is pretty much the first in the damn story outside of some much older operations involving early conflict between the Corpus and the Grineer, then they are gonna get to Neptune, do the junction and get second dream, then they are gonna get an Alad post cure with scars, do the quest, THEN and ONLY THEN, when they get to Eris, do they get to see Infested Alad V during the Patient Zero quest.

Like what is going on here, the first introduction to Alad V is gonna be post cure Alad V on jupiter, when in the lore he does not appear until after: Patient Zero, Tubemen of Regor, Second Dream and then Shadow Debt. The cohesiveness of the story is completely out the window in this game.
