Furax Incarnon T3 'Standoff' Usable On Statsticks?

New Furax Incarnon's T3 has an option called 'Standoff' which says "Combo timer pauses when weapon is holstered"

Question is whether or not this will work with Exalted melees like Desert Wind to let us have what is basically infinite Combo without having to use Naramon (Like the Xoris did at release)

Likely not because they already nerfed this for Xoris and I doubt they would overlook it again.
