How many founders left?

So as the years tick by I've been wondering how many of us are left that own Excal Prime. Mainly because as the new Duviri update came with incarnon adapters, it allows old weapons to be useful late game. I bring this up because I would like DE to bring out Excal Prime, Skana Prime, and Lato Prime to the masses, rather than collecting dust as locked code. I know some of us wanted to keep him locked because of exclusivity but I would rather see others enjoy him.

I am not sure why anyone would feel the need to bring this ancient fossil of a topic back up again when it's been brought up 5000 times at this point. DE already has officially stated very clearly many times, that the content of the founder packs will never be released again. How many of them are actively playing the game is irrelevant, the whole point of any founders pack is that they are fully exclusive to the limited time period in which they are available. This was all part of a period when the game was in a worse and more bland state compared to your typical mobile game, a small group of people were willing to support the game when no one else was willing to do so when it needed the financial support the most.

how many founders left?......well depends on how many we had to start with then you subtract the ones that are still playing and you will then have the number of founder that have left

why would you want to know that?.....most would want to know how many are still playing but i guess we each have our own questions

you guys realize you can be a founder without excal and the weapons right?
There were several tiers to the founders packages, you can check which tier founder someone is, and whether they participated in closed beta on their warframe profile.
They will never rerelease excal prime but I think all founders should be able to pay the balance for the respective founder level to obtain him and the weapons....then again I don't think that's 100% fair either

i bring my excal prime for all kind of things, from e-prime to duviri.
never have i run into anyone telling me to eff off with that, usually people love to see one in the wilds.
had a guy tell me he played 1800 hours and this was the first time he saw one, took some screenshots and went out happy.
yea there is better frames, even a better excalibur if wanna nitpicky with the umbra, but this is a frame that has been with me for a long time, and thats something i care about.

and while a point can be made its sure a bit of showing off when i run it into either content, its mostly playing a frame that's seen the years of warframe from start to here.
same goes for my loki prime, to this day still my most played.

im a hunter founder, i have no lato or skana, never complained about that.

edit : as for the amount of founder still playing, i dont have numbers, of course, but i can say im in a ghost clan filled with friends, most of wich are other founders. and they all play, some more, some less, but they do play.

That is not how it works, Excal Prime was part of the hunter pack or tier 2 founders pack.
THe Skana was part of the master pack or tier 3 which also included excal prime and the grand master came with lato prime which again, included excal prime.

So its impossible to have those weapons and not have excal prime.

I don't think so because I had a cheap founder pack with just the weapons. I didn't buy the $100 pack with excal at the time. Mine was $15-20

he is correct, excal came from hunter and upwards, weapons came after him
im a hunter, never had the weapons.

I think players would like for developers to not go back on promises.

we are 10 years in by now, that should give enough of a hint on how that's being handled by DE.

Can ya'll just let us have this? DE stated they intend to keep their promise.

We invested in Warframe when it had no funding. It was gone.
The game was almost doomed to die but we became Founders to help it live.
The Devs did what they needed with that funding and saved the game.

It's the behemoth it is today thanks to the amazing playerbase at that time.
There are people who aren't "Founders" but still funded the game at the time.

Do ya'll even know why we're called Founders? I wish you'd just let us have this promise.

you can enjoy regular excalibur, same powers, stats difference is very minor.
for prime weapons there are plenty of alternatives that do great damage

there was a time in Warframe where Veterans would often say :
"PRIMES ARE NOT NECESSARY" it is that simple.
