Yeah, but they don't necessarily know what it is they're really choosing beyond aesthetics. They don't have perspective of what those 3 frames actually do and how they play. They don't even really necessarily know what to expect from the gameplay yet. so if they end up choosing like... Mag and a Bow and Kunai, they're just going to be having a slow start.
Besides, you could have played with both weapons in that mission.... if I remember correctly.
Sure it makes the game more accessible to new players but what's with the outdated Extraction, Defend the objective etc modes. As we haven't played them since 2013 already over and over again.
'Informed enough' to just say you want a 'bow' or a 'gun', but not much more than that unless you really look into things before you start playing (which many won't do, since it's a free game). Either way, whatever you pick, you're stuck with, like it or not, until you can get some mk1 weapons. This lets players play around with other things immediately.
It looks like it's geared for new players to teach them those mission types, since they're so common. Though it makes the zariman ones odd since they won't see those again for a while.
I wonder how the DE panel will handle how "well" their new update is being received, cuz it ain't lookin' too good.
Also is Drifter Dialogue alignment-based? Because I'm getting sick of this whiny ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Sure they have. You can see the spike in review activity today. There are just way more positive reviews than negative ones. I guess we'll see how long that holds up.
As a Bronze tier backer from the last phase of the closed Beta turned open Beta (when the game only had 1 environment, only a few of the Grineers models as enemies and 2 warframes), I have seen the game's introduction changed quite a few times so it's nothing new to see a new introduction that explains how to do things you have been doing for 500 h in Warframe.
This is something you just got to accept with DE as they have been doing it since the beginning of Warframe again and again.
Duviri Paradox is another game, which might... be maybe... fine, if the other game it was wasn't so entirely bad. It's clearly trying to be Dark Souls, but the movement is so appallingly terrible. The enemies are hit point sponges, or hit point sponges beyond belief; oh and getting one shot while being unable to move, or stuck on game geometry, or simply being sniped by an enemy from across the map is locked into warframe I guess.
TLDR Not only is it not worth your time, it’s less fun than heavy traffic.

But really the story is interesting if you consider it as the words from the writer to you. It is a story of getting stuck in an endless cycle, a lonely cycle. Just like game development.
If you allow yourself to listen you will also hear a story of mental illness that isolation and abandonment can cause. This is something most of us should have experienced during the covid-19 pandemic.
