Volt electricity + other elemental damage

I'm using Volt, and i was wondering if you can make combined elemental effects from separate sources, specifically using electricity from any of Volt's abilities (like Shock) and then hitting the electrified enemy with a weapon that has a heat mod on it to create radioactive effect. Or does it not work like that and I can only get radioactive effect if i put a heat and electric mod on the same weapon?

That was very helpful with understanding the damage types, but it didn't quite answer my question. Maybe I didn't word it well, or maybe I missed something in the wiki that answers my Q. What I was basically asking was can I get a combined effect proc (like Radioactive) from 2 separate sources, like an ability and a modded weapon? I know that I can get a the Radioactive status by putting a heat mod and an electcitity mod on a weapon (say a kunai), and then the kunai will have a chance at procing the radioactive effect and only the radioactive effect, but I want to know if i can get a combined effect without having to put 2 elemental damage mods on the same weapon.

iirc in most cases, status effects came from only one source.
But I don't have the whole 1000+ test scenarios in my brain so you should use Simulacrum.

No. You can't hit someone with electricity and then poison and get the corrosive proc, they'll get procced with electricity and poison.
