Cant complain when trading is a thing. You can go from 0 plat to thousands if you put in the work. Or you can skip that and pay up front. honestly you look at a business model like Apex legends who willingly shill a $160+ shotgun reskin. Nothing else really. Then you look at Warframe. You get hildryn prime, shade prime, larkspur prime, 2625 plat ($100+ alone), and 2 profile icons. for $80. Pretty damn good deal at $13ish an item.

Cheap way to get almost 4k plat. I'm not complaining.

Warframe is like that, grind value is pretty good, pay value is pretty bad
I'll buy it for 100-200 plat within a week, as usual
Took me almost an entire hour to earn that, dayum

Hildryn Prime is not on my must aquire list.

Now, when Yareli Prime hits, DE take my money!!!!!!

The game offers you the ability to freely farm all the parts and weapons and build them without having to pay for it. Yes it's stupdily high price, but nothing is forcing you to buy it when you can freely farm it. It is a free to play game after all, and while I don't agree with how high the price is or some of their practices as the game as aged, that is how they keep themselves funded while supplying free updates to their players.

Turns out devs need to get paid, funny how that is

You can get the required axi relic by killing profit taker. Easy boss fight. happy grinding.
Vladstalker Mar 17, 2023 @ 12:23am
Buy her for platinum or farm by opening relics, No one is forcing you to buy it.

Would you rather go through the absurdity that is an optional reputation grind, requiring the use of the ill-reputed Archwing, just to go get Hildryn?

To many players, waiting on Hildryn Prime was a better use of their time than grinding for Hildryn.

One basically pays for the plat... And the rest of the stuffs are just added bonus..sort of...

Please dont give DE ideas on how to make the next syndicate thing

The price for all Prime Access things have been the same.

You can get Hildryn Prime off the Warframe Market for 150 Platinum, so... you shut up?

If you don't like that, you could always... crack relics.

$70 is the cost of having it "Right now", and not the cost of the Warframe.

I farmed Hildryn P in under 3 hours and Larkspur Prime.

her PA wasn't good anyway. Solid Frame though.

always buy 4k on a 75% off, it cost £32ish. never Buy PA unless it's a solid bundle like Wisp will be. and even then your basically buying cosmetics and Affinity/credit boosts

While it's true that some in-game items can be obtained through farming and gameplay, this does not negate the fact that certain players may not have the time or resources to invest in farming or may have physical limitations that prevent them from doing so. Moreover, it's important to note that not all players have equal access to in-game resources or information on how to farm efficiently.

24hrs a day, if you are someone who cannot even spend at least 1-3hrs a day or in a week to play, then i dont't think you are someone who should play this game in the first place and should focus on important stuff IRL. This also does not negate the fact that there is no time limit or ways you can do to get that items you want.

Moreover, it's important to note that, it's very absurd that you even assume not everyone have equal access. Every players who can play this game have equal access to the internet online to find the information on how to farm efficiently. There is google, wiki, youtube and much more. Everyone with the resources that they have now are the same people who start same as everyone else but already going long process to be the way they are now.

Furthermore, the argument fails to consider the fact that microtransactions and other predatory business practices are becoming increasingly common in the video game industry, particularly in free-to-play games. These practices can take advantage of vulnerable players and create a pay-to-win environment that unfairly advantages those who are able and willing to spend money on the game.

ok... so what is the relation of your point with warframe and this prime access? everything you mention there are being practice by DE or something? why are you attacking the strawmen here?

Lastly, the argument ignores the broader societal implications of financial inequality in the video game industry. When certain players are excluded from accessing in-game items or content due to financial limitations, it can create a sense of division and inequality within the gaming community.

irrelevant with the current topic itself. In fact in warframe, every player can get the new prime warframe and weapon from the access. Going out of the topic itself, video game industry is not a world that will revolve around yourself or bubble. Same as the real life. There is always a some kind of hierarchy and societal different to everyone. Not everyone is equal. It's life.

Even in warframe, not everyone is equal and there are even clear division call as Mastery Rank and Steel Path .The resources high MR player can access is because they already grind and work to get what they have now. It's equal opportunity.

In summary, while it's possible to obtain some in-game items through farming, the argument fails to address the systemic issues of financial inequality and predatory business practices that can make it difficult for some players to fully enjoy and participate in the game.

strawmen argument again. Even without the stuff from the prime access, everyone still can fully enjoy and participate in the game. why would a business company that want to make profits should or would even care of someone else financial inequality and inadequacy? this is not charity or volunteer organization. Another question, can you please define predatory business practices and give example or relate it with this prime access?
