Does a Status Duration mod affect all Status Effects?

Example: I'm using Voruna use her 2 to dump stacks of Status on enemies. I have Lasting Sting on my melee which increases Status Duration.

So does Lasting Sting affect the stacks Voruna inflicts, or ONLY the status inflicted by the melee weapon itself?
