Game thinks right stick is a mouse.
Like it says in the title. Started up the game, look sensitivity was insane and I was getting keyboard prompts for everything. I saw someone mention turning off Steam controller input. And that just made the controller not work at all. So I tried starting the game in Big Picture mode, and now I was at least getting controller prompts... but it still thinks the right stick is a mouse. Is there anyway to fix this, or even disable M/KB controls in the game?

You're welcome, I'm glad it helped you.

But to be honest, the answer was in your thread already. Sometimes you just need a second pair of eyeballs to see what was already there.:heart_eyes_yeti:

No, that actually didn't fix it. I found a fix elsewhere.

You realize that certain games just like, have controller support and don't need the Steam input right? And that, in fact, Steam Input can ♥♥♥♥ with controller support in those games? Cool, glad to clear that up for you.

If you play using Steam Overlay or their gamepad support try disabling that option under Properties. The Steam gamepad support conflicts with the Game built-in Gamepad and KB&M options.

Yeah, I tried that, but it was still weird. And it was just Warframe. What ended up working was a different Steam Input profile someone recommended on Reddit.

Out of curiosity were you using a third party KB&M mapping program like Joy2Key? That would definitely trigger both inputs showing simultaneously if so.

I have DS4 Windows, but it was turned off. I did find other people with the problem so either it's just a thing Warframe sometimes does, was because I was using a PS5 controller (Saw other people mention PS4 controllers too), or something about the fightstick I also have plugged in caused it.

I might be late however i fixed mine by going to warframe controller layout in steam. It was set to an old preset that the game was providing. Changed it to the newest one which was called Official Layout Warframe Config.
