I want to play again but there is so much

I have been bored lately and decided to reinstall Warframe to check it out. Launch it get into my ship? and see my sweet sweet prime frames, prime weapons, etc but there is all these new things (like 20 new frames) and I am so overwhelmed with the new things to do. I bought warframe back when TotalBiscuit intro'd the game where the screen to load in was like 10 missions and like 3-4 frames. Played hundreds of hours, spent hundreds of dollars. Last time i played warframe was 6yrs ago.

I want to play, but what should i do to get back into it slowly. I dont want to get to all the content per say, but i found three is a bench where i can craft the missing primes, which is cool, but again, all seems so overwhelming

The best part of warframe is having all those things to do and having the freedom to pick whatever you want to focus on and go. If you have somebody tell you that you need to this then this then this, it's just going to become this daunting checklist to work through. Instead, just embrace how open the game is and how many options you have, find something that looks interesting and start doing it.

I will say, if you want to grind primes as you mentioned, you need to take Void Relics into Void Fissure missions (they have their own category on the star chart). You get Void Relics from doing many activities in the game, but if you want to farm them specifically then you always get one from doing a mission in the Void. Hepit for Lith relics, Ukko for Meso and Neo relics, Mot for Axi relics, as an example of missions to farm (there are potentially better places for Axi depending on your progress and playstyle).

I stopped playing on its 3rd year. Just came back last year. It really is ALOT but some pointers that helped me out.
Do the things that are familiar. Don't over stress the bigger picture. Take breaks when its too much (:

bro if you love the game like I do. Take your time because yes it is overwhelming how much stuff there is now. I wish they would extend the time of some stuff too from factions like instead of 24 hours 2 days. If you have a job or family you're just not gonna be able to keep up and you're gonna lose out on standing and rewards. Thats what I love about archon hunts and NW. They give you a wholeass week to finish it.

Hey people always complain the game is too fast right? What ever way than to slow things down that way. Making nights in plains of eidolon longer would be nice too. I hate feeling rushed. An hour goes by fast.

All of these are good advice but you could also make a new account. Play on it for a bit to get re-introduced to the game and when you feel like you're in the swing of things, go back to your old account.

Hope you are able to get a good team. Allies can greatly improve the enjoyment of the general grind to farm gear that Warframe can oft become. Generally I would second hitting the story quests following the junction paths as it would open up most of what you need to hit newer content. That said, it might be good to join an existing clan with Railjack shipyard if you don't have a previous clan still; as the requirements to make your own clanhall and the rooms might be prohibitive in time and in-game investment if just wanting to get stuck in. I hope it works out.

I understand feeling overwhelmed. I kept trying to come back, but needing a Necramech for New War, and looking through the stuff I need to do in order to get one is just demotivating. Railjack was easy since I already had all the stuff after they made it easy, and I didn't have to raise reps or a bunch of bounties to get it. Just a clan, basically. The more barriers they put in front of cool content, the less people will engage in that content imo.

Also recently came back, good thing i got a bunch of platinum and bought the new war pack to continue some of the new story content.
