first impressions

started up the game on my new laptop that only has two usb's one on each side and my keyboard and mouse dont share the same usb key so if i wana use my game controller which is the Xbox button model, but use the keyboard for chat, more on that in a bit. i have to unplug the mouse to use the controller. it works right away, no set up. however the controller feels like a fat xbox controller due to its odd shape and the buttons. its not comfortable at all, gameplay wise, its a mess. attacks and combos are everywhere. the game makes you invincible early on but limited ammo? i mean i would try to fire the gun and instead he would fly or swing his sword, the sprint is terrible, feels really slow. chat. so a text box appears center on screen and its lit up, can i use my keyboard to type and the letter appear on the screen? no... instead the screen goes blank and the chat in the corner is where you're typing, rending the box on screen USELESS, only when you're done will the message appear on screen on the correct box. idk how to compare this too but thats like having to chat with your phone when the computer right in front of you. i think nintendo planned this with splatoon and off topic, cardboard and both failed. and when you're done on the phone and ready to send, only then does the message appear on your computer screen. and why are they called tennos? wrong. they are called primes. they always been called primes. never tennos. get it right. its primes. anyways, the game is a mess

When you mentioned sprint, did you not get introduced to bullet jump ? Thats one of the thing you should have learned and its faster than sprinting when combining it with rolling after a bullet jump.

The other part of the thread seem just be a mess. Nothing makes sense.

Are you the senior head writer? And who are you trying to justify that the "tennos" are and should always have been called prime? What even is the reasoning behind it?

1) they make usb splitters. I wouldn't use them for high bandwidth stuff like a usb disk or streaming your camera, but it can certainly handle a mouse/kb/controller all at the same time and still be mostly idle.
2) you are not invincible but the first 2-3 planets are extremely easy. It takes a gigantic effort to acquire and rank up mods to beat strong enemy. The damage curve is off the charts, going from 10s of damage early game to (ignoring uberbuffed group efforts to make the biggest crits possible) tens of thousands per shot for even casual players but that takes time to get there. The game itself is casual friendly and 'easy' anyway for the most part. Only a few quest missions and extreme endgame are 'hard'-ish.
3) i dunno i never run out of ammo but if you do maybe it auto swaps to melee. I would have to test it, its been a decade since that was an issue.
4) well you asked, and not to spoil too much, but you are a survivor of the ship designated ten-zero ... a "tenno" came from that name. Its revealed somewhat later and a minor detail. Prime is something else.
5) chat is fine. Its a pc game, designed for PC. PC games have to deal with dumbed down interfaces and horrid mess from phone/console game ports. Console/phone players have to deal with the assumption that you have a keyboard and can type. It can probably be improved, but its 100% free to play and you get what you pay for. Most people use voice chat instead of typing anyway.

In my 5 years of playing warframe on 3 different platforms I have come across 1 single person who used voice chat and that was in my first week on PC

Well, let's just say that for a 1st impression... your text's punctuation, sentences construction, ideas being solidly exposed, paragraphs separation between different concepts and so on sort of Jazz: Didn't impress in the least form and I'm not even an English native speaker, so... take it with a pin*Errm* bucketload of .

Hardware wise, you might be able to get a USB hub (powered depending one what you need to use of course) and then use one built in port to connect to the device and then use it for your peripherals. As for controllers; you might have options as you saw you have Xbox style controllers; and might be able to pickup PS5 or other options depending on budget and what you are trying to use them for. If you do like the Xbox One type controllers but need more buttons I would heavily recommend PowerA's Elite style controllers and with their back paddles programmable to say take on the function of clicking in the stick or performing the combination to bullet jump; it saves on a great deal of wear and tear while making the experience much more fluid. You can also use a microphone in the game as well, if typing isn't fun. Some players don't like it much, but many are fine with it. If you do, push to talk can be useful.

As to plot, that can get a little deeper. Suffice it to say, Tenno are Tenno; while warframes are warframes. Yeah; we have primed warframes if we find or buy them from DE but Tenno don't get primed. Only our gear gets such options! Since you are just going off of early experiences I will not say more on the subject but after you hit the three main plot quests you will learn a little more and can some of the story behind creating the Tenno and warframes. (Second Dream, War Within, and Sacrifice should do it)
