Controller support changes after july update.

Hello. I'd like to ask if anyone has had the same problems I've been having w/ regards to dual shock 4 and steam deck controls after the july update. I use the nataruk, Xoris, and the exploding darts. I also have increased levitation time when aiming. Pre-patch, I'd bullet jump then "aim", shoot my natruk while bullet jumping through enemies and as I pass them by, throw my xoris backwards and d tonate... if I have enough high left, I'd ground slam.

Post patch, w/ the nataruk aiming+firing, if I press/hold the melee button to charge the xoris...> it doesn't anymore... intsead it just does "quick melee" (w/c I don't want... I want the charged throw)....

If the single handed gun is used, everything works as expected when charging the xoris (but not w/ the nataruk or any two handed weapon even the exploding darts w/c needs two hands). My areal combo w/ the nataruk + xoris is essentially "gone". However, pressing "E" on the keyboard gets me the desired effect. So why does the keyboard "melee button" E still charge but my dual shock buttons don't'?t(they just do quick melee first AND THEN they can do charge.this however ruins my aerial combo.

On steam deck, the "B" or "O" (Melee buttonr can charge (while nataruk is in the aiming position).but not the right bumber (I set an action layer so whenever I aim, the bumper does the quick melee so I (can still adjust w/ the right stick while prepping the fire either w/ the nataruk or the xoris]. I don't. In the previous patch & had no such problem.

Anyone w/ advice for these?thank yeu.

everyone is having problems, the update forced everyone to use the official template that doesn't work and destroyed custom templates

They are aware of the problems but haven't made a response beyond the initial one. They're keeping quiet about it or pretending it's not as bad as everyone reports.

i've also noticed that we haven't had a single hotfix since Wisp Prime dropped, at least as far as i'm aware. so this combined with Circuit Jackal being bugged and unplayable they got major issues going on

I'm done with this nonsense. Wildlands was 10 bucks on sale. I've still the expansion content in the Division 2 to get through. I'll check back in a couple months to see if this is fixed.

Glad everyone else is having the same issue and its not just me. It is a joke how poorly they are communicating the issue though.

to be fair im having a whole diff problem, i use ps4 controller on bluetooth and for some odd reason the game aint recognizing the buttons, it only recons the joysticks i can t do anything, any1 knows what am i doing wrong??? i played before the launch of kulervo and it was fine

My L2 and R2 dont work, done everything i can and advised to try and nothing works! even reinstalled the game! controller works fine with all my other games on steam or other launchers but not on warframe! like i even tried the DS4 app but that doesnt even work!

It's still broken, esp 'blink' in titania/archwing mode (which actually works with Kaithe).

When I lock-on to a target..right trigger doesn't fire my gun... (this worked prior to the update, I thought they fixed the controls because of duviri control issues... now it messed up origin system & duviri controls

So steamOs updated... now clicking the password form won't let me type in my password... (won't summon the keyboard). clicking w/ a real moure and keyboard doesn't work either... :-( this is like a truly amazing beâtiful gorgeous game for steam deck stuck behind a ginormous wall of UX/UI bugs... :-(

For those who can't "log-in" after the unfortunate aug 1 steam deck update... there's currently a work around... DE says they're already working w/ valve for a fix...

Have you tried setting the controller button to the keyboard button for toggle crouch? (I think it's "V" if I remember right).
