Xenorhast can be acquired by mining teal or yellow gem veins in the Cambion Drift.
It can only be acquired using an Advanced Nosam Cutter or the Sunpoint Plasma Drill.
--------------
Also worth noting: Xenorhast is a gem, which means it can also drop from any node with incluides a "bonus mark" in it.
and even though its from teal or yellow veins, the fact its a gem (not a ore, in yellow veins its a bonus drop meaning you have to have perfect mines on yellows) means it has higher odds in teal veins
so the fastest way to find it would simply be to mine only teal veins
But it will lessen the chance to get common ones so be careful.
The best strat imo is going into the caves and speed mining each node.
Only heat each point until you can see if they have a bonus area.
If there is none, release immediately to conserve time. Rare gems can only drop as 1-1 so the quality of the mining is secondary. Its said that better mining quality also increases the chance for rare gems/minerals but speaking from personal experience, the felt increase isn’t worth the extra time investment because nodes are abundant.
