Hmm... NOT CONFIRMED, however I would guess maybe when Duviri Paradox comes out we will get a new nightwave season.

Hmm... The notice time is a bit too short... Maybe at Friday if they do? Not sure, all we can do is pretty much guess. Just like Aerond said, it seems they forgot nightwave being a thing. Which is a slight shame considering the first few stories were pretty good.

Not sure about the date but they do mention that we will see the announcement and they will add countdown timer when there are 2 weeks left to complete it.

"Each season has varying lengths that can last up to several months. A countdown timer will appear when the current season has 2 weeks remaining." https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Nightwave

They had great idea and ambitions with Nightwave. Too bad the whole system died so fast but I hope they have written down at least 3 new stories for the future. It is incredibly frustrating for them to hype new Feature A, update and work on it for 6 moths at best, leave when Feature B comes, apologize fans that they can't update Feature A "for now" which always means "We're going to ignore this feature at least one year."

Ah sweet, thanks for that. Just wanted to figure out if I needed to grind the hell out of nightwave for the next 6 hours lol

I can understand the frustration and/or disappointment, but I personally give them a pass. The global pandemic has had long-lasting effects on the whole world, and game development wasn't a high priority. We basically missed an entire year (maybe even more) of worthwhile development due to the pandemic.

I do hope they go back to story based nightwave though, but I also hope they recycle the old ones because a lot of people missed out. I'm hoping they can get into a cycle of 1 new story based nightwave, 1 or 2 intermissions and 1 old story based nightwave and continuously rotate that way.

Pandemic sure had impact for two years but I noticed very dramatic drop in efficiency when it came to release new content since 2017 after Plains Of Eidolon. They concentrated more on open worlds and a lot less on frequent smaller events. At first I didn't mind but when they announced third open world (Deimos) I was burned out. Token system didn't make grinding any more fun and my progress in Deimos is propably at 70% which is the minimum requirement to unlock next content island.

I might have become entitled when it comes to frequent updates when I think about. The game has been so entertaining since 2013/ 2014 but nowadays I play other games because there are barely events happening in Warframe.

I can understand that. The lack of fresh events is what I see as the biggest issue they will face when competing with the mobile market. Every mobile game I've played has constant regular events, and warframe doesn't even consistently give us the old events, let alone new ones. I would love to see more events, even if they're just small minigames like "the floor is lava" or kdrive races etc. But, from what I've been told and read, the way Warframe has been built over 10 years makes it hard to seamlessly give us events and it requires a lot of testing and bug fixing even when they're just repeating an old event. It's unfortunate, and I'm sure there are plenty of people at DE who wish they had the hindsight to set the game up for regular events, but for this reason I think it's better technical-wise to concentrate more on permanent additions to the game.

I personally enjoyed Deimos, a lot more than the previous 2 open worlds, and even then I was a bit burnt out with Deimos, even though there's a lot about it that I enjoy. So I can definitely understand that. And with them being considerably different from the core warframe experience most are used to, it can be a bit jarring having more concentration on that. But, in saying that, I think they've done pretty well since the pandemic in giving us more core warframe content. I'm hopeful that after duviri things will start getting even better with that.

I completed it in 3 days like a few weeks back. If you're afraid it's gonna end, know that there's plenty of points to gain from recovered weeklies to get to rank 30.

Last time I did that I did it too late and ran out of recovered missions and couldn't complete it. I believe there's a bug where it wont give you any more recovered missions, maybe due to getting the same recovered mission twice in the same week.

I don't think you could 'ran out' of recovered missions, since Nightwave timer isn't bound to your account, but bound to the server.

I literally did run out of recovered missions because there was not a single incomplete recovered mission left in my list of missions in the week that the last nightwave ended. I didn't even get to rank 30 in the nightwave because of it. I literally had no more missions that I could even attempt to complete.
