but yeah shoot off arms then engine in the back
but points to note radial or AOE weapons are that good at shoot off arms since damage procs only apply once and if it hits the body before the arm it wont do damage to said arms to break them, so weapons like ignis or nukor are not good at all for necramechs,
Cedo, acctra, tetra (personally i dislike it but a tenet tetra has puncture and easy radiation modding), but my personal favorite is baza prime crit
Now, I use a radiation rubico with either distrations (octavia's ball, etc) or control (nova's slow, etc). This is just so I can get their back, they really don't like showing it.
Phantasma was more built for proc/punch-through/multi-shot and had something like Corrosive/Explosive added via mods (Toxic Barrage + Shell Shock and Frigid Blast + Scattering Inferno), Galvanized Hell maxed, and Seeking Force, Ammo Mutation was added as Phantasma can also run out of ammo fast (more for the phases prior to getting into the vault), Primed Point Blank and then some other mod (believe Galvanized Shotgun Savvy).
Mirage meant 3 beams at least hitting the Necramech which would take around 2 clips to blow an arm off, which generally meant I would run out of ammo right as it died.
Revenant however - his 4 dealt a silly amount of damage when tuned for it once the arms are blown off, so I would just run in, gun the arms off and lure it down some stairs or something (so I was slightly elevated over it) and then you 4 and just keep it within the beams. If lucky - I could kill it in 1 bar of energy + 6-8 clips.
Took about 10-15 min per Iso vault bounty still, so not exactly efficient.
Not an issue if you three tap them with something OP, but, if you don't you need to watch out for it. They spin their li'l head piece and emit some lightning when it's active.
After the patch, not only does the ability hard-coded not work, the damage still reflects. Damage done to a necramech while reflecting (even when from a refleted source) will hit the damage source. Warframe ability sources are your warframe. I never read that itself, but that's my experience. DE did say outright they "fixed" how the mechs responded to octavia's abilities.
Like said, I still use her. Just not her 1 in a place where her 2 will get it.
use Sonar
Shoot weak point
???
profit
Gloom also works in helping you hit those absurd hitboxes, you only need weapons with good crits and lots of ammo.
Got an old record for mech fight (2021) here too:
