How do people farm plat these days?

I have got over 5000 hours in the game and I am a huge hoarder for plat and credits. I love farming but it seems the market has changed a lot and Im not really sure what people do to make their work. Could I have a run down please? I have been not playing for like 2 years. Im very very lost.

farm relics, sell relics. that's the first thing I do for a quick plat.

well iif you have a stock pile of veiled rivens you can sell those, arcanes (atleast rank 2 o higher thugh noone wants rank 1s), relics or ducats trash, lich/sister emphmeras are probably the easiest options

personally best bang for the buck is probably lich emphmeras with a 20% chance so its better then arcanes but only worth it if you already have a stock pile of the lich mod things cause farming those ruins that, its also a very uncompetive market so easier to sell

I don't know if this is an optimal strategy, but it's fairly easy to make a modest stream of plat selling rivens. You can do a sortie once per day, each of which has a 27.90% chance of awarding a riven. On average, that's just shy of two rivens per week. Most rivens are pretty trivial to unlock if you have the right gear; failing that, you can just burn a riven cipher. Even a trash riven for a trash weapon is likely to be worth at least 30 plat, because people buy them to transmute them, or, heck, you might find somebody who really LOVES that Paracyst and can't wait to take that riven off your hands.

The practical upshot is you can make 50-60 plat per week with very little effort.

If you have old relics that have been vaulted for years, you can sell them for a good amount of plat.
Selling warframes primes it's a good source of plat too.

I just sell Telos Boltace and Synoid Heliocor through the market. Don't even have to do anything in particular since that stuff builds up passively. I sell each one for 25-30p. Not the highest but good enough for me since I don't need plat desperately or anything.

I don't 'farm' plat, so I don't know how much distinction that is compared to just trading to get plat. I just go through my inventory every so often and compare what I have against prices on Warframe.market, then list anything that I can sell for 10 plat or more.

Also, looking at the ducatinator on warframe.market can give you a good snapshot of what is selling really cheap, and what is selling for a lot, so if you have a lot of relics, you can crack stuff that is currently selling at very high prices.

Havent done any trading for a good while now... used to be able to get a good 800-1000p on prime frame sets in a day of on off trading in chat every few months or so.

The Prime Resurgence thing has kinda kicked that in the nuts by quite a bit.

Maybe a good thing, since my interest in WF has waned significantly the last year and alot of my prime sets are run dry.

i focused on doing a solid farm spend rotation on keys then just kind of yoloing whatever i had onto the market for decent plat prices. people really appreciate people who arent going to pull an arm and a leg off for a bp.

This is the most time efficient method I know. Nothing beats it. Literally 30 minutes of work will save you hours of grind. Games are meant to be fun, not another job.

thats what I enjoy in warframe though
which is why i asked what methods are being used by people

I sometimes forget people live in countries where 45 euro (after the -75% discount) does not translate to 2-3 days of minimum wage.

sell prime parts or their relics, sell frame augments, sell galvanized mods, sell arcanes, sell left over rivens/veiled rivens, or wait for a 75% discount and buy it with real money

I've been using AlecaFrame to gauge whats worth the most in my inventory that i have no use for, especially handy for mods that are worth a lot more than first assumed. So defo check that out you can create market orders from the app its very useful!

For reference ive made roughly 400 plat this week from selling mods and parts casually :)
