has there been any plans for Daikyu prime?

decided to make a melee build with daikyu and nikana prime for HP recovery and dont really wanna forma a daikyu of it gets a prime variant soon

next prime should be hildryn and as far as i know every frame after that.. each of them have their own personal weapon when they was release so i doubt daikyu prime will come anytime soon...

All of them do not have Primary signature weapon. Hildryn only came with Larkspur Archgun but Daikyu wouldn't fit her theme imo. Would it still be nice? YES!

You should build your regular Daikyu for now. Because if we get a prime version, the regular version will be better with a riven.

Yes not all of them have primary but they all have their own signature weapon so i'm sure DE will priotize them first tho it's possible too for us to get daikyu prime. As an example, if the leak are true, for the next prime access we get hildryn with lakspur and shade. Why would shade even fit with her theme lol...

That isn't too bad although very unfortunate for me. I do not use Companions at all but DE can't ignore Sentinels forever.

I have taken a look at the next warframes prime that are coming and most likely we will see the Daikyu prime in 2 years with Sevagoth prime, however there is the possibility of seeing it in a year with Protea prime or Xaku prime.

Honestly, I have a 7 forma Daikyu and I still don't think it's worth it. I use it for the amalgam mod, but you're better off just having a really good secondary in my opinion.

(though as far as wishlisting old tenno weapons goes, give me my damn Sarpa Prime already, DE)

Sarpa is a melee weapon and the only upcoming warframe prime with a melee signature weapon is Grendel and Xaku so you might see the weapon soon (literally more than half of the primes in the next two years might bring the weapon).

I want to say that they only do signature weapons that way, but now that I think about it, Baruuk came with Afuris Prime and I don't think that's a signature weapon of his.

The fact that signature weapons have a prime version is something "recent" that started with Atlas prime.
It is currently rare to see Warframes with 2 or 3 signature weapons precisely because they have to make room for the prime versions of Tenno weapons and sentinels.

i honestly like daikyu a lot cause it can proc really brutal bleed damage since i am using a panzer vulpaphyla who can apply viral on enemies the bleed can already start at 21-61k with just 2 mods

You can do the same with Chakkhurr.
