Vent Opinion: Getting the right Tenet Weapon is BS

Reasons why it's not THAT bad:
> Used to be fully random. Now you can pick the weapon you want.
> Element is based on the Warframe used. Even that's within control.
> You only need 1/3 completion to really get the Candidate to spawn. So you don't even need to go full-throttle.
> Just remember to keep some distance from you and extraction. Roughly 150m is a good enough range for it to spawn. 150m is not that much to stand back from. We usually cover 1000m+ on SHORT missions at times.
> Xoris is stupidly easy to use and you get one for free.
> Sold your Xoris? Sucks, you threw something good away. That's on you. Go get another from Simaris.
> Don't wanna use Xoris period? You can use Ember/Mesa/Saryn/Volt/Lavos/etc. to do your dirty work.
> Don't be dumb. Preview the weapon. It's one you don't want? Complete the mission and it'll remove it from your rotation of weapons. Not a perfect solution, but at least you can pick which one you want.
> 20% chance for an Ephemera even. Convert that (you still get the Ephemera anyway) and it's free plat. You can even use said plat to buy ANOTHER Lich with better stats from another player. They're usually pretty damn cheap and you guarantee what ya want.
> Numerous Warframes have ways to shut down a Lich completely. Nyx for instance disables both Armor and Shields and has access to Assimilate making her invincible.
> Hounds are mildly annoying at worst. Just knock off their shields and pelt them a few times. Easy pleasy.

Reasons why it's bad:
> Requiem is RNG. Screw the psudeo-slot machine RNG in a """boss""" battle.

Literally the only thing I've ever found unbearable when farming Liches is that the Requiem punishes you for... essentially nothing that YOU did.
Yes, you can find what mods they are... but not their order. Worst case scenario with Oull, you get a Level 4 Lich for reason other than "Oops, try again!" which just frustrates.
Bonus points if the game randomly decides "Yeah, let's initiate a stab anyway" which I've had happen more than thrice myself.
The rest is manageable at worst.

Tenet Plinx @ 54.4% Toxin
Tenet Envoy @ 42.8% Toxin
Tenet Arca Plasmor @ 36.5% Toxin ( ive gotten 5-25% arcas so far.. they dont like to drop high % for me on those)

And up for contract is a Tenet diplos @ 50% Toxin.

I got a ton more for the lichs.

I usually run Ivara Prime on Ishtar - Venus. lvl 6-8 mobs so really zero worry of any hindrance. Pop the tier 3 granum crown and xoris away! taks about 45-90 seconds to clear 25-75 mobs easy peasy. Total time per mission about 4 minutes.

To hunt and capture, Phenmor built for high slash.

I keep forgetting to do sorties because hunting these things is easy.

Strangely enough, you want the Plinx to be FIRE not toxin. Maxxing it for fire damage works wonders, with the new changes to fire. For the diplos and plasmor, I went with Magnetic. Can get more effects across the board with the plasmor that way, and the diplos will shred shields.

On Topic.
Main reason to do Hydra is to replenish your tokens as you use them. Ishtar is good if you have a lot of the 3rd token. Or if you are farming Protea Neuroptics.

as for Ishtar vs Hydra... I do have a ton of coins. went nuts doing the spy missions there a while ago. found it fun getting the coins. lol. Usually tho, when fighting the sisters, i get the coins from just going after them. that replenishes my coins.

That damn plasmor.. i swear it doesnt drop with high %... seeing that other person get a 25%.. and the multiple i got were the same.

I see 10-12 new plasmors in my future to get a magnetic one too

I'm a perfectionist with kuva/tenet weapons too, lol. I can't use one if it isn't 60%. So far I have 60%'s of the Zarr, Ogris, Karak, Nukor, Twin Stubbas, Arca Plasmor, Envoy, and Diplos. As well as tenet Agendus and Livia, but those don't really count since it doesn't require summoning and killing a sister.
